Kitty is feeling better and I can prove it!
Having the new (Free) fireplace staring Kitty in the face all week has had her wheels turning. She's been talking about putting it in, for the last several days. I told her that if she took it out of the enclosure, I would help her out. There were a whopping four screws holding it in! Once we were in Sunny, it didn't take long for her to get started. She made quick work out of getting the old-new fireplace out!
She then removing the oak, that was used to fill the gaps..
Surprise!! I am taking pics!
** Image deleted because Kitty said so..**
She was even using POWER TOOLS!
New one going in...
Measuring and figuring...
It's in place, but won't be finished until we can get her cabinet maker to build the frame. Once done, it will connect to the existing cabinet using the screw holes left by the door hinges..

Can't you see her going crazy now that she has been turned loose? One fireplace today, the world tomorrow.
Will the removed fireplace be used for outside afternoon chats?
Great going Kitty!

With so many campgrounds not allowing camp fires anymore, maybe we could substitute this for one!

Now I "NEED" to do more !!!!!!!! I already have another mod in mind, just have to do some measuring and then off to LOWES to purchase some "stuff" and see how my idea will look
This mod will not require a lot of "power tool use"
Hum, might have to go to Lowes tomorrow to get the "stuff" so I can 'test fit" the mod, and if it looks good, get it in place before monday, as that is chemo day, so that will put me out of energy for a while again.
Kitty
PS: On another subject, removing the sticky residue from the wall border that I removed is turning out to be more time consuming than I had thought it would be, so that will be an on-going project for a while.
