Bringing a T1850 back to life

I am a newbie to RV ownership and camping and have started refurbishing a T1850 needing some TLC. Here's a list of work to date: re-packed wheel bearings and adjusted; new tires; cleaned brakes and rotors; repaired/replaced some marker lights; corrected a marker light that had the positive wired to ground which was discovered after blowing the same fuse several times in my tow vehicle; corrected the hitch wiring which was wired completely backwards; re-painted wheels, wheel well opening and the paint stripes; checked out the power converter and battery charging circuits; checked out the propane gas piping and the Wedgewood range. Just purchased some fabric to recover the cushions and need to repair some past water damage.
I do have some questions that I will post on the appropriate forum. Glad this site exists with so much great info. Good work!

You have down well on your camper restoration project so far . Good for you!

Are you close enough to take it out camping yet? Being able to get out camping between large fix it projects help make all the fix’in go better!

Getting to the point of “all” done can take a lot of time. And then there is always something.... For many of us, camper restoration and camper mods are a true work in progress and determining an end date, well let’s say that is TBD....

Have fun fixing up your camper. For some of us it is very therapeutic, the seemingly endless hours of love just seem to go right on by...

thanks John. First priority is to get it roadworthy, then thru NYS inspection and getting my tow vehicle set up. Then start looking for a book on "RV Camping for Dummies"!
Still need to get the basic camping necessities. Hope to get out in Sept and maybe enjoy some fall colors in Letchworth. I will keep updating the mods as they are completed.
