Sunline newbie

Just getting into the camping thing here in MA picked this gem up a couple days ago a little confused on the year of it now that i checked into it was sold to me as an 85 but the paper says 82? Any advice? The floor in the back is a little spongey i started poking around and it seams like the outer frame is still solid just the middle floor joices need to be scabbed together and new ply wood other than that there is a little spot on the top front right light where the light was broken/missing and water leaked in so far it seems pretty solid just picked up a moisture detector today going to scope it out tomorrow and well see what that finds for me

Nice! Whereabouts are you in MA? I picked my 1750 up last year and plan to head up north this fall for some leaf peepin with the wife. We are on Cape.

Welcome and congrats! Yes, you definitely have a 1982 Sunline 15-1/2' SB!

Interesting about the date listed on your QCC, usually someone signed a name there. I've never seen a date there, but it does look like different handwriting than the rest. It's definitely a 1982 but I would have estimated a production date in June or so.

Ha! Yeah I’m a huge camper dork and a total sucker for old campers. Got a ‘78 Champion Titan Motorhome and a ‘78 Sunline T1750 trailer. I’m a carpenter by trade and love tinkering on these old things.

Welcome! I'm on the MA/CT border. I spend a lot of time on the Cape. Currently, my Sunny is down for repairs, but she's still quite solid.
