2020 Adirondack Meet & Greet - Sept 11-13

Hi All. Time to start thinking about next year's ADK Meet & Greet at Fish Creek Pond. Labor Day is late in 2020 (Sept 7), so start thinking about 2nd weekend in September. Paul and I will mostly likely reserve for Tuesday 9/8/20 - Monday 9/14/20; therefore we will make our reservations thru Reserve America on or about December 8, 2019. Please put a note on your calendars for around the first week in December to make reservations. I believe most were happy with their sites this year, although it would be nice if a few more of our peeps could have been closer. So, unless there's an objection, we'll try to keep the same sites. Hopefully someone can grab site #44; and maybe 43 and 45 will be reservable in 2020, but probably not.
As always, everyone's input is invaluable, so please share any and all thoughts as to anything we can do to make this fabulous for all. We love suggestions.

Hi all. I spoke with my DEC contact about trying to lift the "unreservable" sites 43 and 45 for our Fish Creek Pond M&G. She was unable to make them reservable for us; but she did say that these sites are generally available for transfer when entering the park. She advised that everyone should make reservations for a site they are comfortable with, and once at the campground inquire about transferring their reservation to 43 or 45.

SO FAR THESE ARE OUR COMFIRMED RESERVATIONS:

#39 Sheri & Paul 9/6 - 9/14
#44 Tom & Deb 9/8 -9/15
#47 Vic & Mir 9/7 - 9/15
#48 Steve 9/7 - 9/14
#140 Del & Kris 9/10 - 9/14
#138 Vinnie & Lisa 9/10 - 9/14
# 41 Della & Walt 9/7 - 9/14

Mary and I are considering attending next year's M&G @ Fish Creek.

However, looking for site suggestions that will fit our 40 foot FW with easy back-in (i.e., for us that are backup challenged) and leaving access and room for 13'-6" height and slide-outs (i.e., no tree overhang or side interference) - not sure if a site like that exists there for big trailers like ours.

Please let us know if you have any suggestions on sites to consider.

It's not a prerequisite that we're close to everyone, we can ride our bikes to join everyone.

The most important is if we can identify a site that works.

Hi ALL! Hope our Sunliners have made reservations! I heard there is a problem getting sites near one another, but I'm hoping it's just b/c some campers are staying a day or two after Labor Day. Paul and I will be on #39 again from Sept 8 - 14. I believe Deb & Tom are on #44. Don't have confirmation on other's sites, so please post when you have your site reserved. Can't wait to see everyone! We always have such a joyous time together! XXOO Sheri

True, we were not able to get our usual site #42, but were able to reserve #44 from Sept. 8-14, leaving Tuesday the 15th. The site is fairly near the entrance to the creek, so anyone who would like can leave their kayak at our site to be closer to the creek. Looking forward to this ! Yes, we always have a great time!!!

First time joining the group at Fish Creek Pond Campground. Vinnie and Lisa have reserved site# 138 for September 10 to the 14th. Looking forward to seeing those of you that we have already meet elsewhere and meeting everyone else that we have yet to have the pleasure of crossing paths with. This is a great park and a perfect time of year, thank you for the invitation!

So do I understand correctly that if anyone wants to go to Fish Creek, they cannot reserve for this year. (So our group is what it is, good, but small !!). But they can, and maybe should ? reserve for 2021 since good sites still are available? Maybe think ahead to a wonderful 2021 and a nice big group, right?

We're new to this group and I just found about the M&G today. Obviously I'm unable to book a site anywhere near the rest of you but please add us to your group list. We're Rich & Anne and we'll be in site #3.
