Hi All,

Sorry I won't be able to make this one this year, it conflicts with Buttonwood. I've been wanting to make it back there for years, and now that the parents are retired and slightly more agreeable (ok, sometimes), we've planned a big trip out there this summer. I'll definitely plan for next year!

Signing Up For Food

Hi, Everybody,

Looks like it's time to post our food offerings:

Friday Evening: Veggie Tray with Mexicali Dip
Saturday Breakfast: Shredded Cheeses for the Omelets & Cantaloupe and Blueberry Fruit Bowl.
Saturday Dinner: Marie's "Famous" Calico Beans. Yummy ! (Bring your Tabasco Chipolte sauce for a special, smokey treat !)

Note to Jim: I haven't been on in awhile, and I just saw your question about the "Scope". Let me say that if I have a problem with my trailer floor, I'll feel like a colonoscopy ! But, I'm counting on you to "check me out", and tell me I'm OK.

Very likely, it's nothing. Old floors creak, I know. I ask the dealership to scope the floor, but they didn't do it. Couldn't find their scope !! So, trust your friends, not the dealership, right ?

See y'all at Mendon in a couple weeks.

vanhakke

Creaking Bones ?

Jim,

Guess we can't use the scope on creaking bones, though, can we ? I wouldn't want to watch !

Thanks for your help on this. See you in a couple weeks. (Guess I should bring some awning tape to close up the holes, yes ?)

Denny

Buy new awning material and we can hang it at M&G. Talk to John so can have all the correct tools.

Tape

Jim,

Just to clarify, we're not doing anything with the awning. Only the moisture membrane under the trailer floor. We'll have to slit the membrane to get your scope in, then tape the slit shut.

Is awning tape OK for that, or do we need something better ? Maybe some of that "helicopter" tape ? Do you have any of that, or should I try to find some ? Or do you think awning tape would suffice ?

I be thanking you in advance.http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/im...lies/smile.gif

Jim and Denny,

I updated the menu post (reply #2 of this thread) along with our items.

Jim, I see Jack mentioned firewood, were you bringing some? I did not see that, just asking.

Seems Mother nature has flipped on "Full Summer" mode... It was 90 here today... and the last few days were mid 80's...

Time is getting closer!

We will be there mid afternoon to setup and make dinner. Glad to dine with who ever is an early arrival Friday evening. Let us know we can pick a time.

Thanks

John & Cindy

Full Summer Mode

John, Jim, Everybody,

Yes, summer has set in. Hoping that we don't get baked out at Mendon. However, I see the long range forecast calls for cooler temps and maybe even some rain.

Note to Jim: I didn't do it: I left my dancing shoes at home. Must be somebody else . . . . . ? LOL

Anyway, if our plans go accordingly, we'll also arrive mid-afternoon, early afternoon with some luck.

See you all there.

Denny
