Hi Everyone,
It looks like the weather will be nice next week on Thursday and Friday, with showers possible on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. Temps will be in the low 80's. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the rain will not be an issue for us.
An update for you on my foot. I went to the doctor yesterday and he removed the surgical pin from my toe and the hard cast. I now have a walking boot cast that goes to my knee. Unfortunately, I cannot put full weight on my foot for a few more weeks so I will be on crutches next week. Good news is that I will have use of a golf cart to help get me around.
Thank you to everyone that have volunteered to help out. I could not do all this without you. I have the welcome packets and name tags printed and ready to bring. I can't wait until next week.

Hi All!
In the process of running late to get to Buttonwood on Friday, we were actually a week early! Somehow we got our dates mixed up in sceduling a trip to Niagara Falls in conjunction with Buttonwood. Buttonwood's staff assisted with changing our reservations and got us a site for Friday night.
Please accept our apologies for missing this get together but we won't make it this year. We will miss all of you but hope to catch up with everyone next year!
For anyone wanting to be closer to the tent, Site 65 is now available. Have fun and take care!
- Brad & Amy & girls

As much as we hate to give up the site we've had for the last 9 years, we are going to move to #65 so we aren't boxed in by other campers not with the group

Sorry to hear you aren't fully on the mend, but the golf cart will be a big help!
Just wanted to make sure you have my name tag spelled right, because the original post listing is wrong. It's Jon without an H. No luck finding my old ones, even though I did find my old window sign, which the city is now wrong haha.
Thanks!

Great, thanks Kathy! I also noticed the year of my trailer is wrong, it's a 2007.
The "2008" model is already packed for the trip, but an 8.5x11" piece of paper would be more like a full RV cover for it haha!

Hi Everyone,
Only 1 day to go.
We are leaving bright and early tomorrow morning and should arrive between 1:30 and 2:00. Weather looks good except for some rain predicted on Saturday. Bring your umbrellas.
Safe travels to everyone.

I Won't Be Coming
I won't be coming. Very disappointed.
However, it took much longer than expected to get back to Michigan, dodging storms, hail and flooding along the way through Texas and I was pretty tired when I arrived last Sunday.
Then I got violently ill yesterday. either stomach flu or food poisoning!
Was looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing all those different Sunline models
Please take lots of pictures and even videos to post!

So glad we got to see everybody this year. Sorry I didn't have much vacation time allowing us to spend more time with you all. We made it home okay and praying for a safe trip to rest of our Sunline family.

Kathy,
Thanks for all you did to get ready for the Meet and Greet. Hope you soon are able to be rid of your fancy boot.
It was nice to meet several people we hadn't met before.
Hope everyone had a safe trip home.
Take care!

Thank you, Kathy - you did a great job! It was so nice to see everyone again and to meet some SOC members that we hadn't met before. Couldn't ask for nicer weather either!

Kathy & Al - thanks for all the hard work you put into this years M&G - it showed!!!!
We took the long way home yesterday (Route 11 up to the NY/PA line)- what is normally a 7 hour trip took us 10 hours with stops and an unexpected tour of Scranton.......but I must say the trip was more enjoyable than traveling on Route 81.....UGH!
Hope to see you all again next year!!!

Made it home a little after 8 last night, 458 miles door to door. Trip went well aside from a delay at lunch, we stopped at Flying J for fuel and Denny's inside. Service was extremely slow for some reason, but the food was outstanding, so it was worth it.
