When we stayed at Watkins Glen State Park, we kayaked on Seneca lake, right there across the street from where you are camping. It's pretty calm and you can follow the shoreline for some interesting paddling.
Also, if you have bikes with you, try the Catherine Trail which runs for miles from the back of the High school along the waterway that goes to Montour Falls. Packed gravel and flat. Check out the waterfalls in Montour Falls, we saw two nice ones, one at Shequaga Falls park and the other one at Havana Glen park. The second one requires a little hike along a trail, but is well worth the walk!

Hi,
Nancy and Paul just signed up for site 70. We plan to be with the group at Buttonwood on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We will need name tags for the meet and greet. Camping season is coming! The geese are heading north!

10th Annual Buttonwood Meet & Greet
Thank you to everyone that has volunteered to help out. I am now scheduled for surgery on 4/19/16 instead of 3/31/16. Keep your fingers crossed I am out of a cast in time for the meet and greet.
I will keep you posted.

Reservation List
Hello All,
Please review the list of sites reserved for our M&G at the beginning of this thread. I have sent private messages to people that either need to place deposits, confirm the information for their reservations, or call the campground to be assigned to our group to get our discount. Remember all deposits need to be in before 4/1/16 to ensure your with our group. Buttonwoods will release our blocked sites on 4/1/16 to the public.
If your site is different that the one on the list, please message me with your correct information.
There are 3 sites booked for our group that I do not know who these people are. These sites are #62, #66, and #67. Please message me to give me your information if your on one of these sites.
If I do not have you on the list, please let me know so you can be added.
It looks like we are going to have a great turnout for our event this year. I can't wait to see everyone in June.

Definitely, just a matter of remembering haha. I didn't realize you hadn't seen it before. It has aged well, but it does have a couple small issues. One piece of the slide trim fell off, and the roof material shrunk a little. I had alerted Kitty of these items within a year and inquired about a warranty repair, but I never had a chance to take it to WV for that repair.

I am interested in sights before and after the Rally. Never been to this area before.
Can you rent Kayaks at Buttonwood?

Yes, there are kayak rentals. If you have time to explore and have not been there, do wander through PA and the Fingerlakes of NY. Lovely areas ! We have not been to Wellsboro/Ive's Run area so we are looking forward to seeing that area. Wellsboro is a charming town with old fashioned street lights and historic buildings.

If you've never been to Amish country, the Lancaster area is a must. It's about 1 1/2 hours away. If you need suggestions maybe start a dedicated discussion.
