2015 Adk M&G Cracker Barrel Gatherine!

Hello to everyone attending the 2015 Adk Meet & Greet @ Nick's Lake State Campground, Old Forge, NY

This post is to inform everyone of Friday night’s Cracker Barrel Gathering @ 7:30PM and to provide a way for individuals to sign-up / identify (via a reply to this post) what they would like to bring as a dish to pass.

Friday night’s Cracker Barrel Gathering will consist of:
Everyone is to:
> provide their own drinks and place settings,
> bring a dish, snack, appetizer, cheese, etc to pass.


Suggested Serving Size of Shared Dishes: since there’s currently 12 sites, 24 people I would guess that enough to serve 8-12 people should be sufficient.

We do have a reserved M&G Site #54 (Loop C) - we will need to borrow tables from surrounding campsites (we are on 53 - ours can be taken; Chuck & Terry are on 52; Trailblazer is on 55; and Vic & Mir are on 51 - we can check with them on Friday). I would think we only need 4 or 5 tables max.

If anyone has any food allergies, please post them so everyone knows and can take them into consideration when making their dish to pass.

We'll bring the enormous barrel of snacks (chips/pretzels,etc.) we "won" at the W. NY Chinese auction. Should be enough for 50 -60 people !!!!!!!!!!

But we'll be there with something even if I can't talk Mary into it.

Sheri's bringing small meatballs. I'd bring the Lava lamp I won at the WNY last year but I don't know how to divide it up.

OK I forgot to mention that we need a few fold up tables for the food.....
so if you have one that we can borrow, show up with it on Site 54 on Saturday!

Weather for the weekend is to be mostly sunny, day temps in the high 60's ~ night temps in the high 40's - bring warm cloths for the evening hours - the fog has been setting in around 8pm this past week and does not burn off until around 9am.......
