Acadia and the northern Adirondack's in the fall sounds good to me!

Hello All,

I'm interested in the Adirondack meet & greet. Is Nicks Lake, SP a dry camping area? I didn't find a listing for any type of Hook-ups. Maybe I just am not using the search correctly or there are no sites with Hook-ups available.
Thanks, TurtleBax

Hi TurtleBax,

Nicks Lake SP is a nice campground but it has no electric sites. Water is available at various points within the campground loops but not at each site. There is a dump station near the park entrance and potable water to fill your tank.

Sam - Nick's Lake Campground is a state park, no hook-ups at all! There is a motorless lake on the property, hiking and biking trails....so here is the itenary:

Friday night - we gather around a campfire and get social (having a few cocktails); Saturday most people do what they like to do, go into town, sight see; kayak, bike, etc.

Saturday evening we have a gathering and pot luck dinner, so everyone brings something to eat/share...., and trust me we have some great cooks amongst us; fire afterward and some good laughs!

Nick's Lake is one of our smaller m&g's but we still manage to have some fun!

Hope you can come! Where in NY are you???

Oh - just remember it can get chilly in the Adirondacks so try to be prepared for some cold/chilly nights!

Ok you are about 2 1/2 ~ max hours away (Ballston Spa) - we camp down your way in May! So you know how the weather can be in the Adirondacks!

You'll find it a lot of fun with a lot of good people............. And then there's the Old Forge Department store.

Welcome. We'll be there from Rotterdam.

Hi Group! I attended last years event in my Sunline, which is pretty much damaged by me in the rear, so now I'm driving something I'm more comfortable with, a 34' Winni Vectra Ford. I have reserved site 49, and really enjoyed the campground. Do you think I can fit in and will you allow me in?
Jack

On a cruise ship there are many different types of rooms, inside, outside, balcony, suite, mini-suite, etc and the one way to see what the "other" rooms are like is to join what they call a "Cabin Crawl".

People volunteer to show their rooms to small groups who go room to room at a specified time.

Maybe we could use a "Coach Crawl" to see the old and new, large and small, Sunlines and SOB's, tow vehicles and mod's.

Sounds like fun. Maybe late Saturday afternoon after outings.

Anyone interested in showing their coach? I hear there's a new toy hauler and RV amongst us.

Let me know now with your site number and I'll ask around after we're all there.

Anyone have a vintage Sunline to show, a newer Sunline, unusual coach, interesting modification to share, new coach, SOB's, new tow vehicle?

I love to see different models, floor plans and mods myself.

Let me know and I'll keep a list and we'll start a quick tour at (say for now) 4:00 on Saturday. Just need some interesting units and mods to see

thanks,
Paul
