We wanted to be with the group. We felt the river side was too far from everyone else. Now we know that we need to book earlier. Things just didn't work out for us to do that this year. Maybe next year we can come!

I am sorry to hear that. We're down by the river and there are four sites reserved by our members over there now. I hope you'll reconsider. (Was hoping to meet others from "nearby" (we're in VT) to chat about good local campgrounds).

Our very first Buttonwood Meet & Greet was about 10 couples, as was the new Western MD M&G this past weekend. The small group is nice because you really get to know everyone alot better than in a big group. I wouldn't let the small number of people on the river side keep me from coming!

Was thinking about booking on the river side after reading the added posts, but broke my ankle on Thursday and had surgery on Friday. Will be out of commission for several months. Can't put any weight on the left foot On bed rest for two weeks and then limited activities for eight weeks. Looks like it will be next year for sure.

Ouch, we know your pain all too well...mdfiregal fell on our Sunnies steps last Halloween braking her left tibia, fibula, and tore the tib/fib tendons. Thirteen screws and two plates later she was on the road to recovery. Take care of yourself and we'll be praying for your full recovery.

BTW, We just took our first trip this past weekend.

So sorry to hear about your ankle. Maybe you will be well enough to attend the M&G at Southwood in Byron for September. We had such a nice time last year. Hope you have a quick recovery.

I am extending my stay at Buttonwood by two days. I managed to get site R60 on the riverside for Thursday and extended the stay on site 310 riverside to include Sunday. I hope we can get a nice kayak trip and a bike ride happen. May the weather gods look kindly on us. Wendy is still in Utah working at this time, so I will be on my own for the weekend, BOOOO.

Good for you! Steve says although he doesn't have a formal ride on the schedule, he'll be doing a bike ride at some point so bring your bike

Missing Buttonwood

Rob and KathyH will be not be at Buttonwood as we are currently in Nova Scotia on our first long trip (6-7 weeks) in our T-2499 . We still have much of Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island to explore. Don't plan to be back in the states until early July. Hope to be there in 2013.

We Made it home safe and sound. An uneventful trip, just the way we like it.
Great M&G again this year.
Thank-you to Lowell & Amanda; Kitty & Gary for all their time, work, and effort in organizing and coordinating this years event.
We've already booked for next year - same site (#84).
See everyone next year.
