2011 WNY M&G Sign-Up

When:
Friday, September 9th - Sunday, September 11th, 2011

Where:
Southwoods RV Resort
6749 Townline Road
Byron, NY 14422
Lat = -78.0360; Long = 43.0775

Tentative List & Schedule of Activities:
Sign-up threads will be posted early – mid August.

Friday:
> 7:30pm - Ice Cream Social - at group M&G Site

Saturday:
> 6:00pm - Pot Luck Dinner - at group M&G Site

For Reservations, call the Campground
Phone # to use is: (585) 548-9002
DO NOT use the on-line reservation feature of their web site
Tell them you’re with the Sunline Group and request the specific site # you want.

I did not ask Southwoods to hold any sites for us next year.
SO RESERVATIONS ARE ON A FIRST COME BASIS.

Sites: Again next year lets try to get on the “C” & “M” sites.
So when you call to make your reservation tell them your with the Sunline Group and ask for the specific site you want.
Sites C10; C11; and M2 are not available because they are already reserved

Site Cost: $32 / night; $28.80/night with Good Sam card
The campground is a Good Sam Park and honors the Good Sam Discount. You will need to inform them you are a Good Sam member at time of reservation and present your card at time of check in to receive the Good Sam discount.

When you make your reservation, please let them know you are with the Sunline Owners Club. They will make every attempt to group us together.

Hello, Hutch, Hello, Everybody,

It took us awhile to make contact with Southwoods, but
we are reserved on M14 for T,F,S & S. We'll arrive a day
early, since we will be driving straight through from Mid-
Michigan, and will use the extra time to settle in and get
stocked up with supplies. We'll be passing through on
our way to the BRP and the Smokys.

Amy and I enjoy Southwoods so much, we are staying an extra week. A whole ten days out of work and close to home so we save on gas.

FYI - For all 2011 SOC WNY M&G Attendees:

I've added a tentative list & schedule of activities to the original Sign-Up post including:

Friday:
> 7:30pm - Ice Cream Social - at group M&G Site

Saturday:
> 6:00pm - Pot Luck Dinner - at group M&G Site

Both the Ice Cream Social and Pot Luck Dinner will be run similar to how it was done at the Buttonwood Rally and last years WNY M&G including:

Ice Cream Social (suggested new activity for this year):
- Participants will be asked to bring either ice cream or toppings to share.
- Participants to provide their own bowl & spoon

Pot Luck Dinner (same as last year):
- Participants will be asked to bring a dish to share.
- Dishes may consist of a side dish; entrée; or desert
- Participants to provide their own place setting and drinks.

I will post a Sign-Up thread for each of these activities in early to mid August.

To everyone attending,

Please do not waste your money and buy firewood. I have more than enough to bring. I only live 15
minutes away so we will have plenty available. I took a lot of trees down at Mom's a couple of years ago and have been splitting for the past week.

Sorry to hear that Dennis & Marie had to cancel and our best wishes to them. Their spot won't be empty though as Kathy and I just booked M14 for that Friday through Sunday.

I hope you can find our baby T-1750 between Bill & Debbie's F-311SR and John & Kim's T-2363. Our slot will look empty by comparison.

We are looking forward to meeting all of you. After two months of refurbishing, we are ready for some fun in our Sunline!
