If we bring the party to the dining room too and we can bring another half dozen people in.

I understand there's a train ride where you can bring your boat one way and paddle back.

We're coming out from New Hampshire-
hardybus, 1984 F-1850 Gooseneck Fifth Wheeler, Bruce & Doreen & Black Lab Female Sara, Saturday Nite Only.
Talked with Tony at the campground today, all sites that can be reserved in the whole campground are gone already. He said come on out, we'll put you up somewhere in one of the non-reservable sites. He said there "shouldotta" be some this time of year. So, we're hoping that Loop C, either site 40 or 48 will be available when we arrive as they can't be reserved ahead. Or one of the other loops if we can't get into C. We should arrive mid morning Saturday the 24th.

We'll be looking for you! Welcome aboard.
If you can, get 48. Your 1850 will fit in there nicely and it is on the upper side of the loop.

Steve are you going to make a list of who is coming and where they are at? Or shall I???? I won't be able to get to it until next Monday, we have Fire School weekend here in OF this weekend and of course we have been working non-stop on it since early this morning!
Kinda hoping you'd be able to do it!
Kathy

We do a Saturday evening potluck dinner. I will get a list of everyone together and post it in here so folks can pick what they want to bring ie. appetizer, dessert, side dish etc.
The rest of the weekend is really casual. We come in on Thursday just to hang with the crew. Some folks will maybe do a canoe trip or ride the excursion train on Saturday in the daytime.
Except for a shopping trip downtown with DW, I usually just stay in the loop and talk shop with everyone.

I got it, Kathy. I know what Fire School can be like for you!
Here's what I have figured out for attendance from this entire message thread:
37 PTHutch (Mary & Tom)
38 Steve & Gail Collins
39 Unknown
40 Not Reservable
41 Unknown
42 Unknown
43 Unknown
44 Unknown
45 clarkldc (Wendy & Clark)
46 GKLarson (Glen & Kathleen)
47 pwb01 (Paul & Sheri)
48 hardybus (Doreen & Bruce) (walk-up site)
49 Unknown
50 canoe2 (Lori & Doug)
51 Sunline couple from Tupper Lake
52 restless (Kim & John)
53 Poppy & Nana (Kathy & Leo)
54 M&G Gathering Site (Friday afternoon thru Sunday morning)
55 mbart5fan (Judy & Mike)
A couple of things:
pwb01, can you reach out to the couple from Tupper and see what they'd like to bring for the Saturday evening potluck dinner?
If anyone here on SOC is reserved into one of the sites that I have listed as Unknown, please let me know now.
For everyone, Site 54 is the M&G site for Friday afternoon thru Sunday morning. Kathy (Nana) takes care of reserving that site, and she'll catch up with everyone during the M&G. We all share the cost of the extra site, and it is really worth it. Mike brings his huge tarp and we snag a bunch of picnic tables from our sites. It works pretty well, even if the weather doesn't cooperate.
Saturday evening dinner is the only planned group activity unless some of you put your heads together for some recreational stuff here and there. In the past, they've done canoe/kayak trips, railroad excursions, etc. No obligation to participate, but all are welcome. It's real casual and laid back.
Gail wants to do an appetizer this year. If the rest of you would offer up what you'd like to bring to the Saturday evening table, we can build a list over the next week or so.
There's always plenty of food!
Gail and I are reserved for Friday through Monday, but we're talking now about coming up a day or two early.

Adk M&G
In addition to all the canoes I can squeeze onto my roofrack (hopefully 3 if I stagger 'em) I'm bringing along a monkey golf game. It's got other names but involves throwing 2 golf balls connected by a bolo-like cord @ a 3 tiered horizontal bar target. Wrap your bolo & score points. Have some Sunline logo-ed gear for best hurlers/tournament winners.
Plan to boondock in Moose river plains for a few days before M&G. There's 100+ free drive, in 1st come, 1st served scenic campsites there
See you all soon !

It's official: Beef Stew being prepared as I write and we have 6 small Cayman Island Tortuga Rum Cakes, several flavors to sample. Maybe 5 by the time Saturday rolls around.
