Mike, Thanks for the reminder. I just grabbed 51, arriving on Thursday the 30th and departing on Monday the 4th.

Marshall & Sue, I just noticed that no one answered your questions about site 42. It's a real decent site and roomy for your 195SR. You'll have a wooded view of the lake, but it's a bit of a down hill walk to get to the water.

Do bring the canoe as Nicks Lake is great for paddling - no motors allowed. You can get it to the water from your site, or drive down to the boat launch - plenty of parking and a nice dock, too.

Mike & Judy and Doug & Lori: We picked up a shaker and two plastic daquiri glasses for our trailer. Bring it on!

Steve,

We may be arriving on Thursday.
We also have the site reserved for Sunday night, but probably won't stay Sunday night.
Reserved it so we can hang around later on Sunday. But that could change and we may decide to stay until Monday

There's now just a month before the Adirondack M&G at Nicks Lake near Old Forge, NY. I just checked reserveamerica.com and there are still 4 sites left in C Loop. Two of them will handle 30' trailers and one will accomodate 20' trailers. The fourth is rated for 15' units and it is a tight squeeze at that.

Here is the guest list and site availability list:

Sites 38 and 41 have been reserved by parties unknown.

46 and 49 are still open as I write this. 46 is small, but a 2053 or smaller will fit there.

I'll be looking for pot luck supper ideas after the WNY M&G is done on the 13th.

Site availability update: 39 & 49 are available - both 30' back-in sites. Everything else is reserved. 39 was reserved but is now available.

There's still time to get in on the fun!

OK now for food.....Leo and I have to leave for a 1:30 wedding and 3:00 reception...what is the anticipated time for the pot luck dinner????? I'd like to say we'll be there by 3:15 but I don't think that is doable LOL!!!! Depending on the time scheduled to eat will depend on what I can make and donate if we aren't back in time.....

My opinion: 6 PM at the very earliest to start to show up with maybe a 6:30 or 7 PM sit-down time.

Gail and I talked about the last couple of pot luck dinners, and we agreed that there seemed to be way too much food. Right now there are 9 couples signed up so we should be in good shape if everyone keeps the overall quantities down a bit.

Gail is laying claim to dessert and it will be cookies of some kind to be determined. (Anyone with a food allergy might want to let us all know now.)

Let's have some initial offers and then figure out what we still need.

I think we should all crash the reception for this year's Pot-Luck Dinner.
Kathy - did you and Leo RSVP for 18 people

Seriously, I’ll check with Mary to see what our Pot-Luck Dinner contribution will be.

I think the bride and groom would love it BUT Ma and Pa paying for the reception might not like an additional 18 or so people!!!!

Put us down for shepards pie - Old Mill Resturant style.....with ground beef, potatoes & corn! I can have that simmering while we are at the wedding.....we should make it back up the hill in plenty of time to eat again!

You REALLY don’t know what you’re asking for.

But I do make a mean PB&J.
Or maybe Chocolate Malt-O-Meal for Doug and I

Tom,

I always appreciate a couple of good bowls of Chocolate Malt-O-Meal. If we had a side of Oatmeal it would make it the perfect meal. What more could you ask for?

Well...... There is a new winery outlet store in Old Forge that we found last weekend. Maybe we could get Tom to chauffeur again.

No problem, I’m always willing to be the DD.

I just looked in at reserveamerica.com and it shows all the sites in C Loop are now reserved for the weekend. It's not too late to join as there are still two sites open in D Loop. The rest of the park is all booked up although I suspect B Loop and possibly A Loop are simply closed for the season. They've done that in past years.

If you grabbed one of those last sites in C Loop, let me know, please.

Hi Steve:

If you would, put us down for Enchilada Casserole for dinner on Saturday.
