Ok, here’s the straight poop from the t-shirt manufacturer’s mouth.

Design # 1 – too many colors; need to loose the Tree & Buttonwood text.

Design # 2 – colors too dark, wouldn’t look good

Design # 3 (Life Is Good) – won’t do it, even though the font is different, the stickman & the words Life Is Good is too close, pushing a case for a law suite – Ya I liked this one too, but it’s too risky and the manufacturer won't touch it .

So that just leaves the 1st design modified, which would cost around $25 / t-shirt and would look like:

We’re open to any new designs if anyone would like to submit them.

Or we can just go with the above design - what does everyone think?

I'm bummed out about the TShirts. The one above is too much like last year's for me.
What if we took off the words "Life is Good" and put Sunline Owner's Club in that spot? Is little guy by himself a problem?

Another idea would be to put the SOC logo on the back. Changing the word Sunline to the blue, since dark colors are out. And put the date of the M&G under that. We could put the regular Sunline logo on the front.

I"m with Pam on this one, I like the graphic of #3, so would they print it as Pam suggested, without the "Life is Good" slogan ? And if "stickman" is a problem, can that just be changed to different style of person chilling out in the chair ?

I agree,
I like the graphics of the back side of the coach. I would volunteer to model in the chair, but then you would not be able to see the trailer!

Man, I feel like I’m getting hit with bricks from every direction.

Have you ever heard the expression “Don’t shoot the messenger” :P

Just kidding

To answer some questions, from my perspective – the stickman is also a problem – too risky to ask a manufacturer to take a chance of a potential copywrite infringement.

However, based on Makers Mark's and Kanyonkitty’s suggestions, I’ll look at using the basic Design # 3 background layout with a different type of person in a chair.

If anyone has a picture (or wants to take a picture) of a person (in a chair in a similar chair and posture or something else that you may think would be good) that I could possibly use as a model / form to make a caricature, please PM me. That would be extremely helpful.

But please be patient and give me some time. Very crazy at work right now.

Thanks for your feed back and suggestions.

Just a thought

A simple top banner of "Wish You Were Here".

Add Mexico, PA to the sign below Buttonwood Campground.

Think of an empty chair behind the coach with the drink waiting on the arm of the chair.

Keep the bottom as is and you have it all.

No pressure Hutch, take your time, we need you!!!!!

Hi everyone,

Another idea for the phrase at the top....."Life is Sunny" . Keep the following: 1) the sign and say "at Buttonwood Campground, Mexico, PA", 2) the back of the trailer, 3) Jay's suggestion of an empty chair/drink in front of the trailer and 4) the SOC M & G, date, etc.

upon further investigation, we can use the words " Life is Good " as long as it's not the same letter style as the registered trade mark. What we can't use is the stick man, who actually has a name called " Jake " or the same chair because it is one of their designs called " Adirondack ". Now one thing to keep in mind is 7 colors would be ideal and 8 colors will be the maximum they can print.

Ask and you shall receive

How does this look - is this close to what you are talking about?

We'll just need to check with 264SRinPA to see if it's do able and estimated cost. I would guess that the cost to do this design would be in the $25 - $35 range.

I am liking it. A lot. Score one more for people with far more artistic and computer talent than I!

Thanks!

Not sure about that empty chair, and the post on page 2 says we can't use it anyway. (but maybe that's in conjunction with little guy?)
What if the chair is taken out and the Sunline trailer is made bigger? Of course the spare tire would then have to be centered. Unfortunately I think $35 is a bit much for a tshirt, so we might need prices to go with these designs before we finalize and vote.

I like it a lot. I guess we can't have the stickman in the chair ?

If they can't do this logo, I'm up for anything that contains the backend of the Sunline trailer in the artwork. Even if we have to lose the chair.

The chair is not from the life is good guy - it's from a search using Goggle Images - so I think we may be ok with this chair. Plus it's different from the chair in the Life is Good - the new chair has a wheel on the back which differentiates if from the LIG.

I agree, it would be good to have an estimate on the cost of the shirts for the vote.

These designs have 6 colors:
Blue,
Orange,
Black,
Red,
Gray,
White

Here's a similar design with the Life Is Good back in it:

And here's a couple of designs suggested by my better half.
With the chair:

And without the chair:

Good eye Kitty. It is kind of difficult to keep a "travel" trailer "rolling" without tires!

Boy you guys are relentless.

I’ve updated all 4 designs above to add wheels to the trailer.

Hope everyone is happy now.
