Jason,

Hope you can make it to do some camping. But if you can, what ever works for you works for us

Are you sure it's the group camping area? I could see this being used for tents but not a trailer, as there are no hook-ups.

Mack

Thanks for updating the tally.

Been out of town working and it has affected my Sunline Club habit big time. Drive past Tom Raper RV and Best Buy RV on the way to work every day for the last 2 months.... None of those TT's hold a candle to our Sunlines. Yes I did stop in one weekend and look.

31 rigs, WOW This will be a site to see.

Gee need a tie breaker, well I could bring the T2499, but after 2nd thought, ah nope we love the new T310SR way to much. Have not had the time yet to find the little one a new home. She still sleeps in the garage.

Looking forward to seeing every one soon.

John

Mack & John;

We've now tripled the number of Sunlines rigs from last years Eastern M&G (11 to 33)
And increased the number of participants from 22 last year to 75 this year and still growing WOW!!!!

Hopefully it'll be 34 rigs soon if Jason & Kim (aka Lode) figure out a way to make it.

And there's still more room and time for others to join.
Hopefully we'll have some more members that decide to join us.

On a similar note, Nancy is terrific! When we made our reservation, the main side was full and she placed us on the riverside - better than not being there at all. She also mentioned she would call and move us if a spot on the main side opened up. I thought that was a nice gesture, but honestly never expected to hear back.

Yesterday, I received a voice mail from Nancy. She had a cancellation (not one of us) in site #78 and will be placing us there instead. Wow, many businesses could learn a thing or two about customer service from this campground. I'm not even there yet and I'm a happy camper!

I called and left a message tonight at Buttonwood letting them know they've got another camper for the Sunline Owners Club. I'll call back tomorrow and nail everything down and then post up what site we get. We'll be staying Fri/Sat night. Look forward to meeting everyone!

Take care,
Jason and Kim

I just called and apparently they're 'full up' and they don't know where they'd put us. Nancy is away for a few days and has the 'bump' list in her head.

I basically left it as, if there's room that opens up, they'll call and we'll come to camp. If there's not, I'll drive up Sat morning and spend the day with the group and head home Saturday night. I don't live far and knew there was going to be a potential for not getting in by waiting to reserve... no biggie, life goes on!

I'll post up if anything unfolds.

Take care,
Jason

PS. I'll still be bringing BLT dip for the pot luck even if we're not able to camp.

Jason,

BobNKaren we're going to set up in the Group Area, before they had to cancel. Nancy told them that there were hook-ups there.
It's something you might want to talk to Nancy about when you get a hold of her.

Lowell:

I believe you can enter the coordinates:

Longitude = 77.3550
Latitude = 40.5339

Lowell,

One minor correction to Al's Lat/Long:

Longitude = -77.3550
Latitude = 40.5339

Those are coordinates I've programmed into our Garmin and it got use there.

Also, it's very easy to drive by the road to Buttonwood. There's a Chrysler Dealer before the Mexico Mart on the right. The Road to Buttonwood Y's off to the right about 300'+/- after Mexico Mart. The road is Front Street and there's a Buttonwood sign with an arrow there but last year it was partially obstructed by brush. The road is a short narrow road through a neighborhood. At it's end (it T's with River Road) make a right and Buttonwood Campground is on your right, just a short distance down the road.

If you miss Front Street, a short distance after it, there'll be Front Road, make a right onto Front Road. Front Road turns into River Road, which is the road that Buttonwood is on, but the the turn onto Front Road is a more difficult turn off of Old Rt. 22. Your Garmin may want to take you to Front Road, but look for Front Street and turn there, it's easier.

Hope this helps.
Hutch

Thank you, thank you. I've written down the coordinates, and am confidant I won't even need the navigator. I will also try to be sure not to miss the turn because my trailer and low branches don't mix well .

Yes thanks on the heads up to not miss the turn.

A 156.8" WB and a 32' camper does not do 90 degrees with no curves that well.... and a house there to boot...

I'll have to see if Goggle earth can see that intersection of what not to do and what to do.

Gee, down to counting the hours now....

Can't wait

John

I finally talked to Nancy today and she was able to accomodate us! We'll be in the 'group overflow' as she put it. Look forward to seeing everyone this weekend.

Take care,

Yes everyone have a great and safe trip. People traveling 400+ miles to this., this is going to be great. I can't believe the weekend has come so fast, but we are looking forward to it. Round of golf in the morning, come home, wait for wife, she had to work a few hrs. and hook her up. Our trip is only 45 miles. Can't wait to see those 1950 SR's. Until tomorrow from site 74.

Well, we're here!

The campground has Wifi available, obviously

We got in much later than I had wanted to. I hoped to be here by 4:30 today, and we wound up pulling in at 8:30. Left the house late and then got stuck in horrible Philadelphia traffic..

There were a 3-4 Sunlines here when we pulled in, and I saw another pull in about an hour ago when we were outside trying to cook a late dinner.

See everybody tomorrow!
