GRRRRR
So this past weekend, we're camping. Things are great! We are relaxed, happy..... So we head home! Lord only knows what happened to our Tow vehicle! the transmission has been acting up lately, and this last trip must have been too much for it. It is in the shop and they can't get to it until tomorrow-maybe Wednesday!!!!
I am hoping it is fixed and out in time for this weekend.......everyone please pray!!!!!

Kathryn,
We'll be praying for a fast (and inexpensive) recovery to your tow vehicle.
The M&G wouldn't be the same without the brainchild to the whole event.

Maybe someone can pull your TT behind their TT and then you wont have to worry!!
Just tell the Dealership you have to have it!! If we put up a big enough Bit*h they usually get it done in a hurry. Cindy is known around our area to get things done faster then anyone. We even have friends call here and ask if she can call the dealership for them....LOL
YOU HAVE TO BE THERE, IT's YOUR IDEA!!

Hope all goes well and your repairs are simple and a minimal cost. In the worst case scenerio that it's not repaired in time, and you can't get your What to Buttonwood, your family is welcome to stay with me. My wife just decided she doesn't want to chance the heat, and be confined to the camper all day. So, I'm by myself unless one of my friends get 'permission' to come along. In the meantime, we'll pray...
I'm not a wrestler, but anyone interested in a canoe trip down the Juniata?
Pat/Cindy? Anyone?

The water is a little low, but should still be viable option. I've not done anything like that for years. That's why I'm interested. There is a trail about 45 min S. of Buttonwood that runs along the top of the Neelyton Mtn.
Not sure how many access points there are; but driving to the top of the Mtn provides some beautiful views of the scenic 'Path Valley'. I'm not really athletic, but don't mind a little work out once in a while. I wanted to try and locate some Mtn bike trails too. I'll see what I can find 'till we all get together!

I think we should call her Julie McCoy, cruise director!
On the other hand, our MH just went into Cummins tonight because we lost our dash AC coming home last night. We had to run the Generator with the roof AC's on for the entire trip. But now we've got two trailers to choose from should it not be ready in time, despite my mom complaining in the background.

Pat,
I’m up for a lesson on how to kayak. Hopefully, there’s a place to rent them near by. Though with the temps they’re projecting, I think I would rather spend more time in the river than in the kayak.

Meet and Greet
I hope those of you that attend the M&G will take pictures of the members and their rigs. For those of us that can't attend because we are thousands of miles away in CA, OR and WA, we would like to meet you.
Joe

Hey Hutch!
Buttonwood rents canoes/kayaks and equipment w/prices ranging from 19.80+tax for 1 1/2 hr trip, to 30 couple dollars for a 5 hr trip. This price includes viewing instructional video, free shuttles service, (they'll pick us up down stream) and a hot shower afterwards in their clean restrooms. You can reserve in advance for $10 non-refundable deposit.
I didn't reserve one yet; I'll see about getting one on Sat. They have 1-person and 2-person Kayaks and 2 people per canoe, or 3 people for $5 more. Kids under 6 are free.

Maybe I'll bring some lighting and take a shot of each couple in front of their camper
That would be some cool signatures for the website

Have Fun This Week End
I hope you will all have fun this weekend at the M&G.
Looks like you did a lot of hard work.
I hope to see we can make it next year.
I'll keep looking for the dates.

Pat- That would be cool. You'd also have to set something up on your website in case we wanted to buy a print.
