Hi Kitty,
OK, I remember, I was bicycling on the towpath a few years ago with my family and we came upon the campground. We looked around and I remember some of the things you described, like the boat ramp. We'll have to plan a weekend there sometime. This weekend is my wife's birthday celebration and our daughter will be up from College Park, our other two daughters and the boyfriend's will be here, so we will have a full house.
I mentioned the 2008 Meet and Greet at Buttonwood to my wife and she will check our calender (we plan pretty far ahead for some things!) to see if we can make. If so, we'll go.
Rich

No camping this weekend, doing some maintenance getting ready for a week in Maine in 2 weeks. Too many people out there anyway and they are all in a hurry to get nowhere. Sue's bugging me to mow and I'm trying to get her to appreciate the "natural beauty"!!! Hee Hee......I Lost, Marshall

Just Back from Two Weeks in the Sunline
Just returned home yesterday from a trip to Bar Harbor, ME. We left home on August 19 bound for Newburgh, NY, then Littleton, MA, then seven nights in Bar Harbor, then two nights in Littleton-Lisbon, NH, one night in Brattleboro, VT, and the final night in Freehold, NJ. WE stayed in KOA facilities except for MA and NJ. All were very nice and very clean. At the Bar Harbor KOA, the staff did breakfast two mornings. For $3, you got huge pancakes made with fresh Maine blueberries, sausage, coffee and orange juice. YUMMY!!
The Sunline performed flawlessly and the Ford Expedition towed with no problems up and down mountains.

Home Safe,
Had a great weekend at Brunswick Family Campground in Brunswick, MD. HA, believe it or not, I DID NOTHING. No projects, no cleaning Did go out for a ride sightseeing.
Friday evening only did the usual hamburgers on the grill.
Did a marinated london broil on the Weber Q, saturday night wow was it good
Last night did pork chops and they turned out good also. We had late dinners due to George working.
Friend George was also there with his 1994 T1950, he drives a shuttle bus for Harpers Ferry Nat. Park, so he worked during the day into the evening and then we sat around and shot the breeze.
We did have a couple approach us with some questions as they had just purchased a T1700 and need some help, so we went to their trailer sat evening (it was al ready dark) and gave them some help and this website.
There were also two other Sunlines there, making a total of 5 for the weekend.
Hoping to go back the weekend 14th.
Kitty
When I got home this afternoon, I scrubbed my awning with a bleach solution and then washed Sunny, let awning dry, then put Sunny away in his RVPort. All clean and ready to go again.

I had a great weekend (though without a Sunline), but the trip home was great! Unfortunately, I didn't drive the whole way, but that gave the the opportunity to play around with the camera:
That's a '87 2461 there towed by a F-350 DRW. He shouldn't have any trouble whatsoever towing that size trailer!
I did pass a '88 eariler on the road, but couldn't get the camera out and on in time. I think it was a 1550, but I'm not sure.

Jan and I spent out 41st anniversary (married 9/3/66) in our Sunline at Berryland RV Park near Pittsburg, Missouri on beautiful Pomme De Terre Lake. The park has huge green grassy lots, is quiet and the owners were great. They dropped by and gave us a card.
The weather couldn't have been better.

If it had a pair of orange kayaks on the roof of the t/v, that was us. We had a great time and perfect weather for 8 days. Stopped at the Muffin Patch for breakfast this morning on our way back.
See ya soon,
Mike
