SkipB is an unknown quantity at this point
What model is it?

I was recently given a Sunline camper from a friend whose crackhead son had lived in for about 3 years. I have had to totally gut the interior due to neglect and filth. I will restore it into a nice little camper but I have no idea what model it is. It is a double axle 14 ft long and it had a small bathroom and what looks like a shower. I felt like I needed a hazmat suit just to rip out the interior but it will be a nice camper when I finish. I have my own sawmill and will redo the interior with cypress walls and bathroom, a small cedar closet and some pecan cabinets but I have no idea what model it is can anyone please help?

Better experts than me will be along. But for now find the VIN #. At side of trailer or in door way. See Files section at top of page. Search. Good luck

Hi Skip,

We are going to need a little more to go on to help you with your quest on model and year.

If the outside of the camper has not been painted over, posting pictures of all four outside walls helps tell a story about the year and model. Sunline changed the striping, colors, and decals from year to year. Once the year is known, then where the windows, doors, and roof-mounted vents are located are clues to the floor plan. Even if the camper is painted, pics of the four outside walls help hone in on the model.

As Brad stated, the VIN contains the "model year", but not the actual model. If you can find your VIN number, and count starting from the left (1LC) is the first 3 digits, count 10 places left from the end, and the 10th digit is the year. Tell us that digit, and we can help with the year. Assuming the camper is not before a 1980 model year when the 17-digit VINs started.

Once armed with the model year, use the FILES section on the forum to look for Brochures in that year and back into the floor plan.

This will get you started. We are here to help check or hunt with you. Just ask.

John
