Hard to believe it has been a year already! Continue to enjoy your camping! We began "only" 28 years ago last month! We still enjoy and I am now planning our Florida trip..Janalee

Well not today, but last week, we had our entire roof replaced with a "tractor trailer" quality aluminum roof. Also had two of the interior roof panels replaced, new TV antenna, Fridge vent, as well as, all the other vents up there.

Ordered new vent covers for the roof. The arrived yesterday, so today I put 2 coats of 303 protectant on them. Will install this weekend, weather permitting.

My living area needed a "lift"...carpet was dingy and faded and shampooing did not help..so I installed new commercial type carpeting just in the living area. Luckily found a remnant piece in my colors and a pattern to coordinate with my sofa! Total cost...$30.00 and a few hours of my time!(i posted the details on another post where he asked about carpeting his camper,if anyone is interested..) Really looks great! Hmmmm..maybe curtains now??

Janalee, you're amazing!

SUNLINE sightings today: Around 11:30 am on Rtes. 11/15N, north of Harrisburg, a fiberglass Sunline being towed by a black Chevy and a '90s Sunline towed by a gray F150. Around 7:00 pm, a late 80s or early 90s Sunline on the exit for Rte 322W from Rte. 15N.

Happy Labor Day weekend camping!

We got the "Peggy Sue" graphic put on today. She's named in honor of Shelley's dear departed (1991) mother, and combining it with a Route 66 flavor/theme to go with our Sunny's motif.

A friend of ours in the Dallas area hand drew it. I think she did a great job! You can't see it, but the red stripes in her dress match the top stripes on the sides pretty closely, too.

Put the pink fluid in all the traps/drains, faucet heads, toilet, and water pump on Sunday. She's officially in for the winter.

Yup,

Camping season starts next week.

So we had a little frost Sunday night. It's going to be in the low/mid 90's Thurdays. Got to love New England.

I remember going on vacation in Maine as a kid in August. Hot one day and ice fishing to next!
