Undercover Boss: KOA's Jim Rogers
Not sure if any of you watched the show tonight, but KOA had been advertising it a lot on Facebook over the last week or so. The show itself was alright, but a lot of the values he instills are quite refreshing.
However, there was one campground where the owner is from PA originally and they are living in their trailer. For a short moment, they are shown under the awning of the trailer. It sure looks like a '97 Saturn 26C to me!! There's no video on the web yet to confirm for sure, but I will try to.

I saw it too, and wondered if it was a Sunline. The show wasn't one of Undercover Boss's best, but sure cured me of ever thinking campground ownership would be fun or easy!

I'll tell you working for a camp ground last summer was an eye opener for me it is beyond hard work and a very expensive proposition not for the faint of heart.

We saw the show as well !! It seems they intentionally did not show logos and such? We do like the show, but we also thought this one was not one of the best.

It had the shape of a sunline and I at first thought the same thing, but I think the decals were blue. I'm guessing it was a Layton, which had a very similar shape to Sunline back then but with different colors.
He sure did give away a lot of money to the employees he had worked with... more than the CEO's usually do. $50k for that one girl to do whatever she wants with???

We read the notes added at the end of the show and the girl that got the most money, $50,000, quit KOA to do her own thing. Kind of funny that they gave her money to go out and start her own business.

And she did it with $50,000 of KOA money.

No, since it's a Sunline, they fall off by themselves!

..S.F. ; Good LINK. Will finish watching on the laptop when slow..
. There was another interesting new pgm the other night on HGTV called
retro RV's. Most of it was about restoring Polished Airstreams in calif, BUT had a nifty Vintage rally at end about the Sisters on the Fly..... Good
photography & interior modern upgrades.. Quite a common trend for all of us to use in the Back Yard for more SQ FT guests overflow.. Quite work
office / man cave / etc.
PS #2 ) There was sort of interesting cross county BLOG article last week on Tree - Hugger site & TESLA about a 5k mile electric car journey... When their hotels did not pan out the drivers / writers went to a few
Campgrounds to re-charge.. They wrote favoritable about those mgrs,
offered wi-fi & Laundry, & restaurant/ etc.. We might start to observe this "Two hour Tourist " usage during 2013.??

Jon...I finally got time to sit and watch the show.....thanks for the link.
I can tell you that we had a KOA here in Old Forge many years ago....but....when the new owner Tim Noonan bought it he gave up the franchise and called his campground ~ AOK Old Forge Camping Resort......
