Greetings All,

While surfing I just realized Jon has over 1000 posts. That has to be some kind of milestone for the Sunline Owners Club. Congratulations Jon and thank you for your help and resources.

Jay

Jon,
Have you gathered all pics from this website? Also, been wondering if you need a Transport brochure, or a 2006 general Sunline brochure.

Wow Jon,
1000!

Hope I helped out with your collection.

I am going to see if my Sister in Law will join here. I just found out her camper is a sunline too. 1979 I believe.

I was referring to the picutres that people had in various threads. I should have known you would have thought of that I have what I believe to be a 2006 Transport brochure that I will save for you. It's in mint condition and one of the last off the Stoltzfus rack before they got rid of them all. I say that I THINK it's 2006 because there's no date on it but it does have a DSI seal on the back that says 2005 Winner of the DSI Circle of Excellence Award. My 2006 general Sunline brochure isn't in the greatest shape, but I'll save it too. That was the year we were trailer shopping & it got alot of thumbing, and with the way it folded that year it didn't hold up as well as the booklet style.

Well Congratulations Jon,

You are in fact without a doubt the most informed Sunline person on here. Your Sunline collection is wonderful, and hopefully it will continue to grow. All that collecting has made you a great asset to other folks that have questions about Sunlines. I guess I need to get around to sending you some pics of my previous units, and the VIN # of the T2499.

Keep up the good work, and just make sure you let us "Know" where your going to locate the "SUNLINE MUSEUM" and when it will open

Thanks for all your work,

Kitty

The bottom picture is what the front of mine looks like, but the top picture is something I don't have as any page of the brochure. So...I think I have something different.

Hey Jon Congrats! I'm wondering how big is your hard drive to store all these photos and scans that you have?

Looking through your stuff at the meet and greet, you have a copy of everything that I have, but I still keep my eye out for others to take shots of for you. Not too many out West where we are now.

Although we did see a Sunline 5er pass us a few weeks back just as we were heading into New Mexico. It was heading East and was an older model.

If there was a title, Jon would be our Ambassador

Lucky for you, memory keeps coming down in price. You might want to look at an externial hard drive. I had just filled up my 250 gig that I spent a few hundred dollars on a few years aog, and was really surprised that Wla-Mart now carries things like this.

I found a 330gig for only $150!! That's cheap, and if you shop Newegg.com, you can find some great deals. These are portable so you can bring them to school with you if you need to work on stuff there, and are realatively cheap if need to be upgraded or replaced. I think I now juggle between a few of them with everything being backed up multiple times.

Just think that you're copying low-res files off of the computer. I was working on a file from a photoshoot we did a while back and just one picture was 15mb! Now in a single day of shooting, we might shoot 1000 of those size images. I love the fact that technology goes down in price everyday!

I feel your pain.

Pat

I have had several flash drives bite the dust. It is safer to burn your files to CD or DVD.
