Surburban Water Heater

I cursed Suburban every day on this past holiday weekend where it never got more than 45 degrees in the Adirondacks of New York State and the water heater didn't work.

On the last day it hit me that when turned on the water heater would run for 10 minutes and I had no hot water. I thought about it, looked, and once I turned the third valve, the crossover valve, on the bypass system, it worked fine. (three valve system)

Sorry Suburban. Duhhhh!

I went through 40# of Propane as it was using the furnace for 5 days and nights so I guess we saved a little gas taking cold showers.

Is it Summer yet? The news said Whiteface Mountain had 3' of snow last weekend. Actually, you were east of us near Saratoga and we were a little further north this time near Wells.

Two seasons in the 'Dacks: Winter and 4th of July.

Having had a camper with A/C since 2006, I can only remember needing it twice but didn't have shore power to turn it on.

but....A bad day at the campsite is better than a good day at work! We love it!
