Sunny in high wind

Penny and I returned from Virginia Beach Monday towing in 20+ kt. crosswinds. (This is after an early morning bout of gale-force wind.)
In short - no sweat.
Our 2653 shrugged the wind off, both towing and sitting. Man, you have to love a low-slung, sturdy Sunline.

We had full hook ups for the first time, and I took y'all's advice to fill the tanks then dump (instead of leaving the valves open). I was surprised to find out we didn't fill the grey water tank as quickly as I thought we would.

All in all, a successful 3-nighter.

Glad to hear you had no problems. We can't wait to go back out camping. You will be suprised that you will not use as much water as you think.

So nice to hear you had a safe trip in spite of the weather. One of the plus' for us with the 2499 is the low profile with no slides. It is just perfect for the two of us. We also love the quality of the Sunline that everything works with the push of a button. One thing we not do anymore is drive in real bad weather. Such as heavy rain as we did in FL. in 09. We will just find an exit or place to pull over and wait it out. We ended up with water inside from somewhere we have yet to figure out. Was not a big issue we just have this thing about water on the bed!
