I went and looked at it yesterday and found no roof damage. Someone had removed the fabric from all three slide-toppers and the main slide had severe water damage at the front. I was still planning on trying for it and got to the auction this morning. I had been hoping to pick it up for around $1,000 or less. By the time the auction started, the pre-bidding was already up to $1,425. I waited in the rain, to see if I had a shot at it. It was next-to-last on the block. The bids kept going up and up and the Sunny sold for $4,000, to someone in Brooklyn, NY.
Oh well.....

I really had my hopes up too...
I know someone is getting a nice Sunny, for the money!
I figured I could have repaired the damage, for less than $200.. Using some of the 299's donor parts...

Bummer Gary.
But your right, for some with some extra funds and some being crafty, there is no way they can get a camper of that size and build for $4K.

Knowing this now, I can add some more information to the story of this unit. The unit that was a Crossroads Trailer Sales in 2010 was listed for sale on a seasonal site in Ocean City NJ on Craigslist last year. I had contacted the owner but after an initial email with him he never responded back to me with answers to my questions.

Hello all and Gary!
Gary you might be in luck as I am the one who won the trailer! I posted this thread so big thanks to MACK-85 for sending me to this one.
I had to go through a broker also so after all fees it came out to right around $5,500. I planned on buying it fixing it and selling it, and of course using it a few times because these things are awesome.
So if you still want it as is its yours! Just let me make a little bit of $ so I can prove to the wife that this was a good idea
