Sunny 17 makes it home!
After 4 grueling hours at the dealer, we started on our first time towing a 5'er!
When we got there, Kitty was told "Let's go out there and you tell the guys what you want them to do." We pulled the 320 up, just in front of the 311 and unhooked from it for the final time. They used a forklift and positioned it door-to-door with the 311, so we could transfer all the junk across.
Naturally, I started checking things and found that the LP tanks had not been filled yet and one of them was an '02 vintage. Since we had an '05 on the 320, I swapped them. The salesman took both tanks and filled them. The broken battery vent cover had been replaced and a new group24 battery was installed. The unit was fairly clean on the outside, but would have turned out better in the summer months..
The tech came out and immediately started transferring the vent covers from the 320. He also put a new sprayer nozzle on the toilet rinser.
We left all the LED marker lights on the 320, but I pulled the LED stop-turn-tail lights and the LED backup lights. They were immediately put on the 311. We didn't have much daylight for pics, but managed to get a few.
All hitched up and ready to roll!!!
Kitty decided that the salesman and I needed to pose for a picture. Here I am, getting the keys to the 311..... For the second time...

Looking Good there Kitty and Gary.
Gee the 5er and the F350 look like they where made for each other. From the 1 pic the camper looks level and the truck isn’t squat’ing. Well yet anyway… .
So how was the Camp Kitty experience of getting it in the “spot”?
How did it tow from in relation to the T320SR?
Looking good. Super Congrats!
John
PS. I see the sig pic updated already too.

I was just thinking the same thing! The blue in the truck matches really well with the blue in the striping. If only the silver were the gold, it would really blend in!
Congrats!
Jon

First a huge THANK YOU to my Gary for making this a reality for us. We should have many wonderful, memorable years with this Sunline. Now OMG, I thought this thing was beautiful during the day, well it was dark by the time we got home, but once it was parked (needs tweaking), we went inside and Gary started turning on lights and the fireplace. Its an electric with heat fireplace. It looks so warm & inviting. But, any way most of the lights were turned on, so when we decided to come into the house for dinner & Survivor, I turned off a few lights, and left a flourscent light on and the two "mood lights, and the fireplace and WOW WOW WOW, what a warm cozy beautiful feeling. YEP, I have wanted this Sunline ever since I bought my '06 2499 and it's been a LONG wait, but I'm gonna love all the room & upscale stuff it has on it. The fireplace, the lighting, the great sounding stereo(well to me anyway), the light fixtures, the fireplace, the beautiful oak cabinets, the fireplace, even the bathroom fixtures, the upgraded microwave, the fireplace, the comfortable sofa, the counter space, the fireplace. I might have to get off her3 and go back out there, and pinch myself to make sure it really is in our driveway. OH, and watch the fireplace a little too.
PS: It DID NOT squat the rear of the truck at all, and I will be very careful what I load into it, as JohnB will be watching what I do in that department.
OK, gotta put my shoes on and go visit my fireplace,
Kitty

H'mm. Kitty used the word "Fireplace" 9 times in one post. I think she likes it . It out ranked the word, "space" by a big margin.
Enjoy

OH, John mentioned space, well let me tell ya, I got it. Even with the boxes of stuff out of the 320 and sitting all over the floor, I can't believe how much SPACE there is in this floor plan. I really like John & Cindys' rear living room floor plan, so I sorta copied them. I love the rear living room, and I still haven't sat in the recliner. OH, by the way, the recliner & sofa both still have the tags on them, and I am also happy to have the "Sunline" notebook that belongs to this trailer. I think we are due for snow, so I might have to spend some time out there by the fireplace.
Kitty
