Sunline T2490

New to RV's. Do all T2490 trailers have the same Model #? I have a 1991 and cannot make out model number on outside of trailer. Does anyone know how I can obtain the model #?

Welcome

Click on the the “files” tab at the top of the home page. Then click on “brochures “ and you can download your year. That should answer all your questions.

Hi ycharlene12,

Welcome to Sunline Owners Club!

Congrats on your new camper. As Johnnybgood stated, our files section has an area with brochures in it and if you download a copy of the 1991 year you can look at the floor plans and length and back into what model you have.

If you look in a kitchen or bath cabinet there "could be" a weight sticker. I do not what year they started adding the weight sticker. You may have to open every cabinet and look. On that weight sticker they often had the model number and on the newer ones the VIN number.

You asked,

A T2490 is a model number a Solaris line of campers. And not not all campers have that model number, only that specific model T2490.

It seems in that same 1991 year they have a Star Ray line of campers with a model T249 No "0" after it marking it is a Star Ray in place of the Solaris.

The Solaris had a lot of added feature that were standard on that line of camper. The Star Ray many of those features were options and you could add them.

Let us know if you need more help.

Thanks

John

Those weight stickers didn't start until the mid '90s. A 1991 should have the newer silver VIN sticker outside on the front left corner, which those usually survived weathering better than the older ones.

1991 should also have the model number plate mounted on the sidewall, next to the entry door, near the RVIA plate. I believe these were brass or stainless painted and etched, not plastic, so the number may be a little hard to read with tarnishing.
