Sunline Rescue?

I was just emailed this info on a 2006 Sunline that was used as a FEMA trailer and is up for auction. Any one interested? This Sunline sure could use some TLC and a new home. To view, visit the website below and enter 91FBPI07902081, the lot number, in the search box.

You may have hit upon something with the title of this thread. We have animal rescues for almost every dog breed/cross breed imaginable. Maybe Sunline rescue service isn't too far fetched.

I have a hard time parting with things that have given me a lot of good service (old cars, Ford tractors, woodworking tools, and most recently our Sunline T-2051). Do you think my DW would be receptive to a collection of Sunlines that need to be rescued?

Sunline Fan is an unknown quantity at this point
Al,

Did you sell your 2051 already, or are you just having trouble parting with it? I can understand if you can't stand to part with it. I've had a hard time selling each of my 3 TT's. I put so much work into all three that I had a hard time seeing them go. Hey, but holding that big check or lump of cash in your hand........priceless.

I'd love to have a fleet of rescued Sunlines, but I know my mom would kill me . At the one point when I had two, she was almost blowing her top!

Jon,

I still have the T-2051. It seemed like the perfect model for our family in 1993 and we've had many years of good trips and good memories in that trailer when our girls were growing up. It's one of the last years when the metal roof was standard equipment: I wish Sunline had stayed open long enough for me to order a T-2553 with that option. I bought a new fridge and new tires in the last 2 years, so I'm not willing to "give" it away for the NADA book value: I'd rather use it periodically and let family/friends use it.
