Sunline Crossing the Continental Divide
Check page 78 of the May 2008 issue of the Good Sam Club Highways magazine and you will see a picture of a Sunline Trailer and Tow vehicle approaching the Continental Divide. This is specified as a contest entry to see if you can identify the roadway and its state or province. Perhaps one of the club members can identify the owner of this Sunline(?).

What’s the prize if we identify the owner correctly?

Hutch - You will have to work that out with the owner
Actually, the contest is for the identification of the location. I went to the Good Sam Highways mag online to see if it is posted in the online version, but my quick checking did not locate that picture or details. The details indicate that a $50 prize will be awarded to the entry drawn out of those submitted. Also, one can submit a picture and if it selected for publication, you will receive $50 for that also. One important item is that the RV must display a Good Sam sticker that can be seen in the picture.

Jim,
I know both the location and the owner .
I have to confess, it's our picture of our previous 1999 Sunline T-2670.
I submitted the picture and was surprised when I was informed that it was selected to be published in the magazine.
Sorry I can't reveal the location - that just won't be fair.

That is WAY too cool Steve and I both noticed the picture prior to this discussion and said what a beautiful photo and how we'd like to be wherever it is! Now we know... LOL

Hutch,
I know where and in what state that picture was taken - just have to figure out the road. I have a picture in my photo album of that exact sign. It was taken on the first trip with our previous Sunline. I'll let you know if I win the $50 for a correct entry.

I have sent in my entry to Good Sam, as I knew where that pic was taken. And I remembered seeing Hutchs' van in a picture once.
So I'm entered. Hopefully someone from this group will win 50 bux.

Good luck Kathy & Kitty,
It would be cool if someone from the club won the $50.

Hutch - Congrats for your print being selected for the magazine. Also, that's a big plus for keeping the SUNLINE name on the map
Also hope someone in the club wins!

Well, neither Kitty nor KathyH won the $50 bucks for identifying where Hutch's picture was taken . It was won by someone in Victoria, BC. The picture was taken on the Continental Divide in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.
Thanks for entering the picture Hutch. We tried.
KathyH
