Sunline 5er Alert on I90 in NYS

Sorry this took so long, made it to a PC to post.

Date: Saturday June 16, 2012 around 3:00pm ish Edit: Fixed mixed up on date

Road Sighting: I 90 in NYS (Thruway) heading west bound towards Buffalo somewhere around the Bativia exit area.

We where heading east pulling the T310SR and I get a glimpse of a really big Sunline logo on the front of the about 2003 5er? Had a black Ford Super Duty pulling it, single rear wheels. After realizing what I thought I saw, I focused on the rear window of the camper before we were too far apart. It looked like Kitty and Gary's older camper. It had to be a rear living camper.

H'mm, Trailblazer was that you?

What are the odds???

John

At first I was going to say that it was us especially since the description is definitely our truck and 5'ver. Also the fact that I remember seeing a Ford Super Duty the same colour as John's pulling a Sunline with a slide room trailer heading east bound on I90 around Batavia on the Saturday we were returning home from the M&G and our Washington Trip. The only problem is that we were on the I90 Westbound on June 16th not June 23rd. We were not even in the US on June 23rd. So John, just wondering if any chance you got the date wrong, otherwise someone else is pulling a Sunline 5'ver with the exact same truck as ours.

H'mm,.... OK right day of the week, wrong date.... It was Saturday June 16th, not the 23... I read the wrong week off the calendar.

So that was you! What are the odds or that happening again...

I did not notice you until you where just about parallel with us way over on the other road way. By then I had about 3 seconds for my Sunline radar to kick in and figure out the truck and the camper until you where out of sight.

The front of a Sunline 5'er for sure stands out in a crowd.

John
