Spotted on I-90, MA WB
Near exit 8, Palmer, MA 1:30 pm
We were travelling East, coach on back, wing on roof of pickup. You were pulling a Sole (can't figger out the accent mark), headed West bound. TV a Dodge (? I think..) pickup with Vermont plates.
Anyone here??

LOL!!!!!!  Yes in 2004 the Sole was a sort of a beginning family version TT Sunline tried. We went thru one when we bought our T2499. The Sole was still a Sunline, but did not have all the Solaris upgrades. China toilet, wood medicine cabinet and many more Solaris standard features. I think it was a try like Sunny Brook did with the Sunset Creek line. As the Sunny Brook Titan TT was getting to far out there in cost and they did not sell so many. For Suuny Brook the Sunset Creek line has done them well and they stopped making the Titan TT line. But I’ll still stick with my Sunline over the Sunset Creek.

You guys (and gals) are gonna have fun with our coach... the "Solaris Lite" sounds like a glorified "Sole"- plastic toilet, (I think) non-wood medicine cab, no "2005 Print"...Still a Sunline, but not quite as classy as the others in the brochure. I have still only heard of a couple more 2380s, and they're not mentioned in the 2005 brochures that came with our owner's manual. Just please look past the crack in the bathroom door mirror...someone left a broom behind it and the door was swung into it by a big, dumb animal (me). Saving for a trip to the USPSA Nationals (google it) and it's a minor hassle but fairly large expense to fix.
Jon hooked me up so I could have the '05 Sunline photo. Actually, I need that file again...it was on the hard drove of my other 'puter that puked its hard drive...

Not the case...the Solaris Lite is just the smaller length/lighterweight coaches.
The S Series (you may or may not have a logo on the back for it) is just as you describe though. They're designated with the "S" at the end of 2380S. The floorplans were unique to just the S Series though, as were the Sole floorplans.
They must have realized that the Sole looked too cheap, so they decided to make it look just like the others and cut elsewhere. Problem is they designed this coach right in the slump of the spending boom, and since the slump lasted for such a short time, so did the model run. Once the economy started booming again, people thought instead of going with the cheaper models, why not go all out. It's the right product idea, but wrong time. If they were to have come out with that same idea now but with like an aluminum or just overall lighterweight construction, it probably would have taken off and could have made them competitive in the current market where you have to have something unique to stand out to the few customers.

We looked at a Sole at Martin's Camper Sales sometime around their arrival on the scene. At the time we had the T-2053 and were looking for a larger coach so we went over to Martin's. I did look at the Sole, but only for a very short time. I remember being very dissapointed with it's planning and build quality. It wasn't long untill the T-2753s caught my eye. Too bad they were a little out of my price range at that time.
Jon, any idea how many of them were built? I do know of a few around here that I spot occasionally. One at our favorite CG. Want the VIN off of it?
