spam messages
Hi,
Is anybody else getting spam messages from this forum? I'd like to nip that stuff in the bud.

I have not received any spam from this forum. However, I sent a PM to the administrator to look into it.
I signed up to a Sunline group on Yahoo (i.e., sunlineowners) that I got bombarded with spam. If your associated wtih that Yahoo group, I would remove yourself.
The other Sunline Yahoo group (i.e., sunliners) does a good job at controlling spams.

How come there is more than this group? I didn't know about others, but this one has all a Sunline Owner needs. Why don't the members of the other groups come here? That would be Mo better.

A lot of us are here - I gave up on the Sunliners Group with all the spam I was getting.....
Found this place to be a much nicer, safer & friendlier forum..

What do you mean by spam messages? Are you getting spam PM's, or just e-mails? I haven't gotten any PM's that are spam. Regular e-mail on the other hand...

No Spam comes to me from this site.
But from every where else.... yes.
How do you even know it comes from here? Or is the Yahoo group Hutch told us of the culpruit. I never signed up for them.

The spam that I have been getting as e-mail comes with a subject line like this:

Nope, I've never gotten anything like that. I'll admit I too have never signed up for either of the Yahoo groups. I tried to sign up for one (I forget which one at the moment), but they never responded saying if I could join or not.

I too signed up with the Yahoo Sunline Owners group. I also received many unwanted spam emails. After I found this Sunline Owners Club, I removed myself from the Yahoo group. I didn't get anything out of it except spam. I suspect other Sunline owners dropped out that group for the same reason.
