So, how're y'all doing up there?

I was watching the news and saw film of the weather in Sunline owners' land and thought about all the folks getting slammed. Everybody get winterized in time?

Not too bad in my little corner of New England. We have had a few freezes but I was winterized so no problems. Some parts of upstate New York got slammed with snow. On Monday (Nov. 21) the Gold Star Bridge, Rt 95, from Groton Ct to New London Ct was closed for about an hour due to ice and cars sliding all over the road.

We dodged the bullet here in the southern tip of the Adirondacks. Our neighbors to the east and west didn't fare so well. All we saw was some wind and a dusting of snow across the three days that the storm was here.

The fiver is all winterized, in spite of my bum foot this year. I still need to pull the batteries, but not before I move the trailer to take down a tree in the yard. Still plenty of time before the sub-zero weather sets in here.

Northeastern PA here...we had very high winds for about 24 hours creating blizzard type situations at times. We here in Taylor got 5-6 inches of the white stuff..temps were not too bad unless you figure the wind chill factor. It was those wind gusts that caused most problems..and Jim--you would need a bit more than a longsleeved shirt! Use one of those jackets you are used to using in February down there in southern FL!! Lol!

No snow in central PA, just rain, sleet, and the high winds Janalee mentioned. Blew all of our leaves out of the yard but blew all of our neighbor's leaves into our shrubs! We wanted to take the Sunny camping over Thanksgiving at a nearby State Park like we did last year but the weather and a few other things got in the way. Still not winterized yet b/c we're hoping that we might get out again. Some SPs around here stay open until deer hunting season ends in mid-December.

(BTW, it's good to see your smiling avatar back here at SOC!)

We managed to get 24" in a short period of time - looked like winter wonderland but plowing a non frozen ground did not make happy snow plovers around here!

Rubicon has been tucked away since the end of October!!!

Our T-1950 has been winterized and parked the past several weeks. Bare ground and high 30's here on the 45th parallel in Michigan. Just 4mos away from getting the camper ready.

I'm in Daytona Beach with the camper for the winter, don't think I will winterize this year. Went to Christmas parade today, first time I ever got sunstroke and sunburn watching one. Was fun tho. Chuck

Winter storm warning over the weekend here. Gust to 36 MPH this afternoon air temp 22 chill 11 teens tonight. Present Mt Washington weather -4 winds 79 gusts 84 wind chill -42 snow, freezing fog, blowing snow want to go for a hike? Heard a radio report from the Mt (after dark) hikers going to Harvard cabin for the night at 3500 feet where it's a balmy 8* to hike the peak tomorrow! Yeah they are nuts. I might add the Cabin runs around 40 inside in the winter with the wood stove cranking I have friends that are the care takers!

Northern lower peninsula in Michigan has been a bit rough the past few days. Some places had blizzard warnings and snowfall measured in feet. The T-1950 sits under the cover of a blue tarp and snow being piled up around it.
