Snow/Ice Load on Roof

Anyone have any thoughts about or experience with the snow/ice load limits on a non-walk on roof?

We've got a few inches of wet snow up there now and a snow/ice/rain event starting tonight. Should be mostly rain here on the CT coast, but....

I did try to remove the snow, but it was too heavy for me to try to push off the roof because I have a heart condition, so I took the edges off with a broom.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks, Craig

Thanks for the quick and very helpful reply!

I'll have to study up on the site's search process because I spent an hour doing different searches last night and I/it didn't find anything having to do with snow on the roof.

My pleasure!

I remembered talking about snow loads last year and did a search for the term "Snow load"

Even then, I think it was on page 2 of the search!
