Robert Moses State Park

Looking for ideas for campsites for next year at Robert Moses. We camped last year on site 208 but heard some people say there are campsites where you can see the ships as the pass the Eisenhower Locks. Site numbers would be great.

Thanks to Steve Collins I found this site - blue are water sites. and you can see pictures of the sites. AMAZING

Bobo and Amy might be more help, but from the pictures we chose one that appears to have a good view of the locks. (Please, anyone correct me if I am wrong here!)

Blue are water sites. We reserved site 53 from July 16 - 19th. Not sure of your timeframe for camping there . Try now if you know and you may be able to get a water site. If you want to camp or even come for a visit, we can call the lock # and see when the ships come through and you can join us at our site to watch!

Sorry. No computer anymore. Best sites in my opinion are 183 -194 and
39- 53. We have booked site 39 June 19 -20. Still a few nearby if anyone cares to join us. Last year was in the 180's and loved it. Great ship watching and all of these sites overlook the west end of Eisenhower lock.
