Talking radio install

just wondering if anyone has any ideas on where, and how, to install a am/fm/cd or dvd in 94 sunline saturn t-1550. do you use the existing tv antenna, or haveto install a dedicated radio antenna? thx to all. I'm having a ball with my recent purchase of this fine little trailer!!

If your coach doesn't have a built-in radio, you can add one just about anywhere you can run power. You will need to install a dedicated radio antenna, too.

If your 1550 has an overhead cabinet across the front, that would be a good place to install one. Easy to mount speakers in that cabinet, too.

I'm trying to remember if our coach has a dedicated 12-volt circuit for the radio or if it's tied into a shared one. I'll have to look.

Being a '94, do you have stickers on the ceiling indicating where there are speaker wires? There might also be a sticker where the pre-wire location is for the box of the unit. I had a '94 2251 and it had those stickers since it had no radio from the factory. In the late '90s, Sunline did put the radio antennas on the roof, but for '94, they were mounted in the sidewall, usually on the opposing door side near the front.

For a 1550, I'd say the radio would probably mount in the cabinet over the sink/stove, or on the side of the cabinet, either upper or lower (by the door)
