Power surges
Hello everyone;
I just have a question about the security of the American brand converter. Last fall we replaced the original one in our 2004 2499 due to cooling fan troubles. Then last week when there was so many thunderstorms I became concerned about a power surge from the 30 amp cord that is connected to the house. I cleaned out the fridge and disconnected the cord. My question is has anyone had trouble with their converters due to power surges?
I will say it is so nice to have a new converter that works so well and is so quiet we often wonder is the cooling fan even working at all? I hope every one is enjoying their RVs as much as possible this year. Since I broke my heel bone April 3 we have not been able to take the trailer out but we do enjoy it right in our own back yard.
