Our First Sunline Visitors at the Low-Key Hideaway

I was working out back just before sunset when I heard Cindy yell that I need to check someone into the RV Slot.

Much like the RV living, she's in charge of everything inside, I'm incharge of everything outside.

I walked around the building to find George & Judy from the Forum pulling into the RV Campground!!! Our 1st Forum Members coming to visit!!

This is their view out the back of the camper

Like Cindy and I, they have the back rack loaded to the hilt with toys...The only way to Travel is with all the toys!

It only took them a second to get hooked up before we were all getting to know one another with the fellow campers while we all sat out back watching the sun set and swapping lies

Really looking forward to the rest of the week while we visit and hopefully they'll still be here when Ron and Alice come visit

Alice, yes that is a peg board cabinet. Full height of the camper. That looks like a 2003 T2499, one of the first ones of that model. I can tell by the decals and the fender skirts. And If I'm not right....Sunline Fan will set us straight....

Another "meet & greet" location to add to the forum? Buttonwood, WNY, Adirondack, Midwest and Low-Key Hideaway?

Yes John, it is indeed a 2003. My secret to know is the older style slanted front end to the side stripes, even cut front (or not pointed it other words), and recessed rock guard.

And I just saw 1 more thing, the stove range hood vent to the outside world. That feature was no longer by the 2004 model.

Recessed rock guard??, H'mm the 03 and 04 sure look the same, what is recessed?

The whole assembly is recessed, just like the 2004's. Actually 2003-05 would look exactly the same with the same logo too. The 2002's were the surface mount large awnings mounted over a plain window that opened. My process of elimination starts with that rock guard. If I see this style, it's '03-'05. Normally I don't need to look around if it's an '05 because I see all the blue in the striping out of the corner of my eye. For '03-'04's, I move on to the striping ends, to distinguish.

We only have 5 slots, but we have a campground right beside us that has 20-30 sites. Ours ar just all on the water.

Alice, the storage locker is a crowd pleaser when ever it's opened at another campground. I've never opened it when I havent had a few fellow campers come over to ask about it or want to look at it.

John and Jon, are too much being able to pick out models just from stickers and vents...LOL

Ron & I are booked into Cedar Key for Feb. 17-24 (might be longer, lol). I know that Norm & Ginny are floating around Fla somewhere.

Is there anybody else that can be there for that timeframe as well??

I will bribe everybody...fresh & yummy cinnamon buns for b'fast??? (homemade of course)

Pat, this is Sunline Club right? And we know our Sunlines..... While I'm "In tune" with 2003, 2004 and 2005 models, our resident Sunline Fan has no bounds on years.....

Yes we are enjoying a great time at Low-Key Hideaway. Pat and Cindy are great hosts...very friendly and engaging. We have been here 5 days and will leave this Thursday. We have met a lot of really nice folks here. Sunsets are gorgeous! We see them right from our T2499 since we are parked right on the waterfront. In between the rains, we are able to bird, ride bikes, tour a state museum, and walk the small town to soak up all the charm.

The town of Cedar Key is charming and relaxing. There are other adventures here..kyaking, good dining. boat tours, and plane tours to name a few. However, because of the rains we have not been able to partake of these. George says "this is a comfortable place..like your mama's kitchen."

If you are in the area, we would recommend a stop and stay here.

George and Judy Hauck
