opening front window

Last night we were sitting in the QUE wishing we could open the front window. What year did Sunline stop putting the opening front windows in? I know for sure that our old Sunlines had one.

We had a 99 T-2670 that its front window opened.
Our 2005 doesn’t – we also miss not being able to open the front window.

So some time between 1999 & 2005

I'm sure Jon will be able to tell you the exact model year,
It wouldn't surprise me if he knows that exact unit :P

Our 2002 front window opens. I like it because it allows us to open it inside the rock guard for ventilation. I trust the front window open more than a roof vent cracked open.

I hope I don't disappoint you, but I don't know off the top of my head. I want to say the changeover was in '03, when they went to the flush-mount rock guards. '02 was the last year for the wide protruding rock guards. The flush-mount jobs were only the size of the window, so they probably had the glass all as one unit.

You could probably find a kit or something to make it an opening window. I was told by a different factory rep that the opening windows tend to leak more, so companies are doing away with them. I guess it make sense!
