On the way to Maine via Button Wood

Barb and I left for Maine on Sunday afternoon on the heels of Irene. We planned to stay up around Allentown PA but ended up spending the night at Buttonwood. It seems like most of the camp grounds north of Harrisburg had lost power. Button wood was great but seemed a little like a ghost town with out the rest of the Sunlines. We saw a lot of flooding around Goshen New York but really had no problems. The folks in Vermont and up state New York have been hit very hard. I never though Irene would reach that far.

We are spending two nights at a really great little campground called 4 Season campground in Brookline New Hampshire. I highly recomend his place but it is really hard to find. Tomorrow AM we are pulling out for the Maine coast.

Hi Rich and Barb! Our 2012 summer vacation will be up to Maine and NH so I'll be taking notes! Enjoy your trip and post some pictures if you can.

Have a safe trip. My brother lives in Camden, Maine on the coast. He tells me that Hurricane Irene hit west of them.
