OEM & Other Info Links

Below are links to Original Equipment Manufacturer’s (OEM) web sites, which Sunline used. From these links you can obtain information, user’s manuals, installation instructions, and troubleshooting guides on their products that are available from their web sites. Thought I would start a list that might provide easy access for anyone interested.

If anyone has additional links that should be added to this list, please let me know and I will add them to the list.

Please let me know if any links do not work.

Note, also check the FILES page for instructions, guidelines, manuals, and brochures specific to Sunlines that can be viewed, saved, and printed.

I hope you enjoy and find this information useful.
Thanks
Hutch

Hi PTHutch

That is quite an extensive and comprehensive llisting that will provide needed information that all Sunliners may need to refer to in the future. One item that you might consider adding would be under the "Tire" catagory. My 2004 Sunline Travel Trailer came with Maxxis tires, and these seem to be preforming exceptionally well and show no wear as yet. Have had only one flat tire and that was due to a roofing nail that I picked up somewhere. Just though I would pass this info on to you if you want to add it.

Jim & Billy,

Thanks for the kind words. I’ve been trying to update the list periodically when I find or am informed of other useful links from members or posts.

Billy, thanks for letting me know of Maxxis tires, I’ve added them to the list.

The brand name looks to be Easy-Access - no manufacturer name to be found in a number of Google searches.

Read this thread for previously discussed info here:
http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/ph...asc&highlight=

You probably mean this one:

$268 each at: http://www.tjtrailers.com/store/easy...ank-cover.html

or the go-rv-com catalog has it for $196

If you are looking for owners manuals for appliances, etc. for an older trailer, try:

http://www.aerocoachinc.com/ownManual.php

I was able to find the manual for my 10 year old Dometic 579 series AC here. Worth a look and maybe even a bookmark!

Door on T2753

Hello, over the winter, my T2753 was hit by a snowplow and the front door was badly damaged. I now live in Minnesota and the dealer who's trying to find a replacement door cant find one.

Would anyony know where Sunline purcased their doors? I have a 2007 Solaris T2753.

Help we need to go camping!

Thanks!

hope the info helps.

Hutch,

You can add windows to the list, I don't see them. Old windows up through I believe 2002 are Hehr windows (Hehr International) and windows 2003-07 are Kinro windows (Welcome To Kinro!).

According to the warranty explanation, all Sunline coach windows are now out of warranty. The warranty will go 12 months from retail purchase date or 18 months from original shipment date to manufacturer/dealer, whichever occurs first. 18 months from when the last Sunline was produced has already well passed.

I'm not sure if they will sell parts direct to a customer or not, even if a customer were to explain that the manufacturer is out of business. If a window or a part for a window were needed, the customer may have to contact a dealer to order it, who may have to order from a RV manufacturer to get through to Kinro. I know for a fact that some Jayco units use Kinro windows as well, as a starting point for finding a dealer who could get the parts.

Keep in mind that any complete windows or glass would have to be custom ordered and has at a minimum one month to six weeks before it could come in.

Jon

This is good info. The Kinro tip is new, at least to me since my coach falls into this group. However searching there site I do not see our style but it may be they do not have them all up on the website.

Key is, we have a place to start!

Thanks

In working with customer service for this past week, there were some requests for parts for windows or whole windows where an order had to be put in to Kinro for. I kept hearing this name and had never heard of it before, so I just had to come up and look this weekend.

I remembered there was text on the little thing that I pull out on the slider windows to open it. I was shocked that I hadn't ever paid any attention to that before.

Do you pull out a bar thing to open the horizontal sliders or do you swing up a lever? I think the lever style is still a Hehr, whereas Kinro just has the thing that needs to be pulled out.

I seemed to hear a lot about I think the 2000 and 6000 series, both of which I don't see on their website, but apparently parts and/or replacements are still available. Might just have to call them to see if they have a record of what Sunline bought...

Jon

The windows I picked up earlier this year for the project trailer were from a surplus lot that was bought when the Sunline factory closed. They are Kinro windows.

When I was trying to chase down trim rings for them, Kinro pointed me to Parkin Accessories as a contact for retail distribution of their products. Kinro would not sell anything retail. After speaking with the local RV dealer's parts manager I found out they order from Parkin as well when they need window parts.

RV Windshields, RV Windows, Shuttle Bus windows,

The Parkin folks were very helpful on the phone when I called them.

My '02 has Hehr windows, which is in line with what Jon posted.
