New kid on the block

Ok, don't quite know how to post as a new post, but I'm a new member. Just acquired a 1999 Solaris. Nice inside, but outside needs a facelift!
Can anyone tell me what is the best paint to use to repainted the exterior?
Thanks
P.s.... How do you start a new post / thread about this painting project?
I'll try to include pix at some point 😎

Hi Justaguitar,

I moved your thread to being it's own. You did a "reply" to an existing post in place of creating a "New Topic". The New Topic button is on the top left area of the forum you are on.

See here for some help on how to create a thread and other helpful things. http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f1...html#post86038

The outside of your camper needing a facelift, Your camper being a 1999 has a coating on the siding called Krystal Kote. It helps retard dents to the siding. It also helps it to be able to come back to life with a good cleaning.

We may be able to help you clean it back to life before you have to go to painting it. (assuming it is not already painted something different than original) Any chance of a few pics showing what you are up against? We have had some real ugly green moldy yuck ones come back alive before with just cleaning it.

See this link on how to upload pics as an attachment http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f1...html#post86041

or to create a photo album of your own on the forum server. http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f1...html#post87945

Hope this helps

John
