A 2000 camper might have the Dewald slide drive or the Barker slide drive pending the build date. Do you know which you have?
The Barker would look like this. There should be access to the motor drive area for manual operation. I'm not sure if Sunline created a crank handle or a hex on a shaft you put a wrench on. Look at the gear box and see if a hole in the side of the camper siding lines up with the gear box shaft etc. If so they had a crank. If not siding hole, then it was manual under the camper.
If it was the Dewald system, it would look like this. There appears to be a hex on the gear motor area for a wrench
Assuming you are asking about the manual drive, is the slide stuck or the motor dead?
There are precautions to be made pending what the problem is when using the manual operation. The slide manual systems may have no clutch on them and cranking the slide the wrong way by accident can break parts. It has been done before. The mechanical advantage on the system is really high as that little 12 volt motor has to run it. Turning the manual crank the wrong way can break parts and you really feel very little or no effort doing it.
If you tell us a little about your needs, we can suggest how to help so you do no damage something.
Hope this helps
John
