Smile Looking for manual

Hi, we just purchased a 2003 Solaris 27 T 2499 and we are wondering if anyone has access to a manual that we might be able to purchase or copy. New to RVing we are planning our first short trip for the spring to familiarize ourselves with our new " home away from home". Our goal is a 3 month retirement trip in 2014 across the states and we like to plan ahead.

First and foremost, welcome to the forum.....you will find that this group is a very knowledgeable and willing group to help.....if you have any questions in your new to you Sunny...ask away!

The manual provided by Sunline was extremely "general", not necessarily product specific.....check out the FAQ section and our Files section, you will find loads of info there. Also if you want to be more specific, write down all the appliance mfgers and model #'s and do an Internet search....you will end out with a "manual" that is specific for your Sunline!

I wrote up this post in the Sunline Owners Club FAQ section a while back to specifically address your question:

Hi HowNan,

Second and foremost... Following Nana's lead, welcome to Sunline Owers Club and congrats on your Sunline.

The T2499 is a very popular model and there is a lot of info here on this site about that model. My DW and I had a 2004 T2499 before we moved up to our T310SR which is a longer slide version of the T2499.

Now to your quest, Steve and Nana have pointed you to our files section which has some manuals that members have uploaded. And your in super luck as a member uploaded a 2003 T2499 manual.... It however is the same for all 2003’s and very close to the 2004, 2005 and up models. It may also be the same back as far as 2000. It is a generic manual and not custom your specific floor plan.

Here is a quick link if you did not find your way there yet.

http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=16

Also as FYI this is the FAQ forum. Which is actually..."Answers" to Frequently Asked Questions. And manuals are for sure a FAQ… We left Steve’s post from long ago up in this forum as it points to the manual question which come up often.

After a day or so I will move your entire post to the community section as the FAQ forum we try and keep it short as it is not really a “Question” forum but more of an “Answer” forum. You have not done anything wrong, no worries there, we help our new members until you get the hang of how our forum works.

Happy camping in your new Coach. We look forward to hearing about and seeing your Sunline adventures. We like Pic’s!!!

John
