Looking for directions
Hello to all the happy travelers planning their trips
We are planning a trip to WDW in early May and were thinking we would like to try a different route than I75 from Detroit. Looking at a map of the USA we were wondering what I65 is like? Are the hills less going through TN? We were thinking we could go to Cincinnati OH. Then west on I71 to Louisville KY I65 to Montgomery AL and back over to I75 at Tifton GA. WE were trying to avoid the steeper hills in TN. Also we have been that I75 route several times and a change of pace would be nice to try.
Isn't it great to be at that time when we can start planning the trips.

The Eastern Route you're talking about is much less hilly than coming South down I-75
I'm not sure what WDW is to look on a map, but I know that Cindy and I have driven all through those areas and they are pretty country.
You'll come through Bardstown KY which is the Bourbon Capitol of the World. Make sure to take a tour of Makers Mark Distillery as it's one of the best tours in that area. I'd skip Jim Beam as it's just a self guided tour.
Then there is Nashville which could be a week in of itself.
Have fun and if you can give us any more detailed places you are headed, we can try and recommend some out of the way sights that you might enjoy
Pat

Pat, I think he's referring to Walt Disney World. Don't be embarrassed, I had to ask for help on that one too!

Howdy Folks
I am sorry that WDW caused so much consternation. I just went and typed that in Google and Walt Disney World is the first link that came up. I do thank you for your input it is always good for a guy like myself to ask directions. Would not do for a big rig hauler to get lost eh

When going to anywhere in Orlando. Try to keep your traveling on I-4 to a minimum it can be very frustrating. The traffic can be just awful travel early in the moring or late if you have to use it.
