Leak from camper

Hello fellow sunline owners

I am the owner of a 1997 T1700 sunline camper. I’ve noticed recently that when I am using my water pump I have a leak coming from under the outside of the camper. This only ever happens when the water pump is in use. I’ve attached photos from where the camper leaks. Does anyone know why this may be? Thanks !

You’ll need to open the bathtub access panel and inspect the pump and water lines while it’s running to find the source of the leak.

As JohnnyB good stated, you have a piping leak. It may be leaking even when not using the water pump, it is is just more aggravated when the pump runs.

If you hear the water pump run a few seconds every now and then when the pump is turned on, and you are not using water in the camper, then there is a leak bleeding the pressure off. The leak bleeds off the pressure and causes the pump to burp to build it back up.

This leak should be address sooner then later. Water damage in a camper is painful to correct.

Let us know if you need more help

John

May not be the pump at all have a close look at the fitting where the city water enters the camper it is under full pressure when the pump is running. Yeah that needs to be addressed it should be pretty wet back there if it running out the back corner.
