Gary with each passing day, the pain may subside BUT the heart-full love you shared will always be in your heart! If someone was fortunate enough to have known her smiling face and bubbling personality will always be in our hearts.

Another loving thought was having her ashes placed in a specially made urn.....with touches of her beloved Sunlines!

Take baby steps, they are easier to maneuver!

It definitely is beautiful, Gary. And that it debuted to Sunline Club via a picture in the Sunline is all the more appropriate.

Wow, I have not been here much since Sunny was sold and we went SOB so I am shocked and downed to hear this about your wife. We live so close and never met.

I decided to post when I saw the pics....a few years back my mom passed and in her last decade she and my stepdad got into camping, first with my ol' prolwer and then they kept moving on up. She passed a few weeks after the last trip, in fact, my stepdad stayed in the coach in a special parking lot at the ABQ NM hospital. I went out west and helped him get things in order and he traded in their cars, truck and camper on a Winnie View. Now he wanders from time to time across the USA with ole Dale (their last dog), now on the passenger seat and on his kitchen table.....the box with her ashes.

My condolences and remember what Juba said at the end of Gladiator: "I will see you again...but not yet"

That urn is a beautiful piece of woodworking, simple but also elegant. Thanks for sharing with us.

The photo doesn't do it justice. Kitty's oak urn is beautiful. We enjoyed having ya'll and meeting your Mom! And Ralph was thrilled to talk about the USMC with Phillip! I'll get that fruit salad recipe in the proper section here on the website, so Phillip can make himself a batch take care, and God bless.

Gary, the urn is lovely. Thank you for sharing the pictures with us. I am so glad you did get away this weekend. And glad dear friends were there to help you through the rough times. Good for you to face your grief head-on. It hurts for sure, but those beautiful, yet bittersweet, memories are good for the soul. I hope in time your sadness will be replaced with more and more memories of the happy times with Kitty.
