I had a hunch, that John wouldn't be able to pass up on the opportunity to check out the T-299SR and the opportunity to get some genuine Sunline OEM stuff!
He arrived here around 1:45pm yesterday and left at 10:30 today. When he got here, he was awestruck at the condition of the 299. He commented that he figured that the shock had somewhat sunken-in for us already. It's not everyday, that you see something that was so beautiful, now destroyed. Our second order of business, was for me to take him for a ride in Kitty's truck. We had taken the 320 to Camping World, to have the fridge recall done to it and we left the rig hooked up.
When I moved the 17 1/2SB on Friday, I had to fiddle with Kitty's backup camera. I ended up making it stay on all the time. With the view of the Reese HP-DC, I couldn't pass up on the opportunity to let John see it in action. We went for a short ride, but the best views of it were when I had to turn the rig around. Kitty"s house and driveway sit on a small hill, so maneuvering the rig can be a bit of a challenge.
Anyway, we took lots of pictures and they will be posted as time permits. I spoke with Stan, who was the previous owner of the 299, on the phone last night and we are going to visit him today. He said that he is doing better, but is still stiff from his injuries in the accident.
For now, here's proof that JohnB actually graced us with his presence!
