Inaugural trip

We finally took over Sunnie on a inaugural trip. We already knew the fridge and the hot water heater didn't work(previous owner must not have winterized and caused a big tear in the tank). So, we decided to stay close to home and went to Frontier Town near OC, MD. We get set up quick and everything is fine. I must not have run the sink to long (testing it) because the first time we used it water started coming ou the cabinet. Checked and the the P-trap had a crack in it. So, off to Home Depot I go. I get back put it in and everything is fine for a minute, then the faucet starts to leak from underneath., the plastic in the faucet had cracked. So, we decided that we would fix it when we got home and just use the bath sink for the weekend. Later, I went outside looking around the TT and see the grey water pipe is leaking. There was a crack in the elbow. Now, all the plumbing is fixed except the hot water heater and we are off on another trip this weekend, hopefully no little surprises. Still, don't regret buying it, it's in good shape for 18 years old and only $1000.

I also seen Sunlines at the CG and wanted to talk, but never seen anyone around!

Your list of leaks does lend itself to winterization issues. The traps, the valves, the tanks and drain lines are all areas that can and do hold water and freeze. They are tighter areas where there is no room for expansion and the plastic cracks.

Make sure you re-check your traps under the sinks frequently as they are known to vibrate loose.

Frontiertown is one of our stops this year, 18 - 20 July. We stayed there last fall and my son wants to do his birthday at the Western Theme Park this year.
