thanks John, yeah stoltzfus sent me on my way with them 600lb bars, this goes back to when I still had my dodge 2500,they said 600lb bars are fine with that truck,I knew better because everything was close to maxed out to get the proper weight dist. but after some tweaking of the setup I had the thing handling so good(I did not even feel tugs when tractor trailers pasted me with just a friction bar)so I figured leave well enough alone but now that I had to redo the hitch set for the new truck I figured now was the time to get the proper bars,my old hitch was a reese round bar and everything was starting to show signs of wear so I figuered rather then just getting bars I would start fresh with a whole new hitch.this drawtite hitch with the 1200lb bars was so easy to set up compared to those 600lb bars, the camper is perfectly level and so is the truck with 1" of drop in the rear and I have it set up so I can go up a link or down a link depending on how I'm loaded. As for the v-10 John I honestly have only put about 500 miles on it since I bought it,just been doing lots of maintainence, changed all fluids, changed plugs, changed fuel filter, put 10 new coil pacs on it,went over the whole driveline, fixed broken exhaust manifold studs,so I should be good to tow,I did take a test drive after setting up the hitch and it did real good,I wanted to do a gear change but the camping season just came up to quick so maybe in the future.
