Lightbulb Help with purchase of 1994 T-1550

Hi all been poking around the site and seems like this is a fun loving dedicated group that is very proud of the Sunline brand. My wife and I came across a 1994 T-1550 - asking price is $4,000 which seems high based on other similar aged models and our walk through of the rig. I'm ok negotiating down - $2,500 - $3,000 seems more reasonable. But being new to trailering and we don't know a ton about what to ask. We walked through the inside (very clean/dry) and ran everything (A/C, lights, blower etc.), inspected the roof (small dent, caulking needs replacing but no visual leaks) and looked underneath - visible rust but no structural damage I can see. Are there any other specifics we should look at or questions we should ask? The sellers seem geniune in that they've had no issues but I want to do my homework. I was wondering if RV sales companies ever do inspections for you for a fee? Me not being an expert I don't want to invest in something without the proper due diligence first. Any thoughts or can you direct me to other posts that cover similar questions? Thank you all!

I don't know if a dealer would do such an inspection, but you could probably find one of those mobile RV/mobile home repair people to come out to look it over for you.

With these older ones, they're really worth what someone is willing to pay for it. In light of that, 1996 was the last year of the 1550 and it had suffered from slow sales in the last few years, so these later, small models are harder to come by.

Granted it won't be nearly as good as a physical inspection, but if you can get a bunch of good, high quality pictures of it (20 or so), post them up here and we can give it a once-over from those and maybe alert you of things to look for or have someone else (I hate to use the word professional) look at.
